If you're still in denial then you'll be happy to see that the BBC website still has us in League 2! However, if you can face it, Wikipedia has updated its Conference page... I thought I was at acceptance but seeing that table makes me feel otherwise. I'm just not ready!

Actually, that helps me.
I find it much easier to play the hand I am dealt once I can see all the cards.

I know what you mean, but somehow seeing us in a league table, a proper league table for our division, sandwiched between Dover Athletic and Braintree Town is a sobering sight!

They are all just teams to be beat, same as every other year mate.
You know me, ever the optimist..........

True. Let's hope we beat a few more this year though and aren't sandwiched between 2 teams at the end of the season! (At the right end of course!)

I will enjoy winning games again. I have come to the conclusion that there's nothing to do but accept it and crack on. At least we should compete.
Cant remember the last time I saw Rovers on the up. I have almost forgotten a rocking Blackthorn.

The shock value of looking at the list of Conference teams diminishes a little each time I see it. Hopefully, I'll be 100% ready for the brave new world by the time we kick off in August.

I still can't believe it. Angry at what has happened. Heads should hang in shame for ever. Failure all round.

Looking at the table has made me feel angry again. A very hard division to get out of no doubt. Still trying to find positives without any success so far. I'm off to slit my wrists!

And you can bet your life that it doesn't matter that we're in the Conference, if we're winning games next season then the Mem will be busy and the Blackthorn will be noisy once more.

Test it with your kids. My son can't see the issue; he'd never heard of Rochdale or Accrington anyway! The innocence of youth, wish I'd never grown up

The innocence of youth, wish I'd never grown up Yep, when I explained to Hugo the Younger that we have been made to play with more rubbish teams he seemed really pleased because he thinks we will win more often!! He cant wait to go to football again next year!! Its hard not to be cheered by that, and knowing that at least one person in the world still thinks Bristol Rovers are the best team in the world should be reason enough to get behind whatever team we put out in August, in whatever league we are playing in.
