I don't have much money and the rent is due, but you've been so cool about this, I thought I'd better put some on. I had about 20 quid saved up for one of my kids' birthday, and another twenty for the Wonga loan. But I'll be able to pay that out of my winnings. And then I asked my old mum for some. She said no, coz she doesn't like gambling, but I managed to take forty quid or so out of her savings (she thinks I don't know where she hides it, but I do) while she wasn't looking. And then I borrowed another twenty quid off one of my best mates. He said I have to pay him back 'or it will be the face, this time,' so it's great that this is such a reliable tip. Then I rifled through the kids' savings and went round the ex-wife while she wasn't in (she doesn't know I have a key) and managed to rustle up another ton. So I've lumped it all on, with this non-official bookie type character who sometimes drives around this way, looking for people who owe him money. And he gave me 3-1. Not great, but he said take it or else, so I did. So, thanks again, mate. I'll but you a drink out of my winnings when it happens. |

Barnsley boss to take over according to rumours up north?? No idea if legit. Lee Johnson, ex city player of course who was not thought of greatly as a player there if I remember. He used to have an apartment near me on the marina in Portishead so I'm sure he would have shown interest in the job. |

It does appear as though both players and managers are not that keen on going to trashton. It was mentiond on the Channel 5 football league highlights programme one night, and Clinton Morrison threw out a comment that maybe it was the manager (at the time cotterill). Well, he's gone and they are still having problems attracting people. I personally think it is because word has now gone around within the football world that it really is a place that is full of sh1t. |

Appointed manager of Rotherham until the end of the season. Great appointment for them and could well keep them up. Think considering the position they are both un Neil Warnock is a much better appointment to keep a club up than Lee Johnson. Can't help but think City would have been better off appointing Johnson at another time like in the summer.
