Is it to be unlocked? If not, can we have a new one, dedicated to the case only and not religion?
Could be this one, but I'm not ggmi so I don't care, so long as we have somewhere to comment on an important issue.

Yeah, this seems a good place for court case news.
Anyone know anything?
There seems literally less news about this important, public and very real event than there is about the consortium takeover!

Is this a thread? (J-P Sartre) One man's thread is another man's rope.

I locked the Court Case thread. It was getting ridiculous. Of course we need a thread on it but if it gets stupid it will also be locked/deleted. As others have said before it really is down to users moderating themselves and acting with a little more soddin respect.
Thank you

By locking a thread, it can prevent a natural conclusion. It ends any stupidity at that time but leaves disagreements open. I would suggest just moving those threads from the front page onto another area of gaschat?

I listened to the "Having a Gas" show on the radio this evening, thinking there would be some information or steer on how the case seemed to go. There were 3 fans on the show and all Geoff did was muse about the old days and discuss the present squad, with a cameo interview with Fallon thrown in. I found it all a bit disappointing to be honest, it seemed nothing more than a way of padding out the last local hour until they hand over to the national broadcasters.
Surely the board could have put someone up to tell us a bit about how they saw the future, or is it all covered by confidentiality agreements these days?

But no-one took up the offer of posting their arguments in the General Chat section and after another poster continued with an inflammatory post the sillyness continued. Enjoy your evening. Lets hope a few just post with a little more dignity.

It's as if there's been an almost deliberate media black out, the first report by the B Post was interesting but that only took us up to lunchtime on day 1, the reports since seem a bit half hearted, BBC's Ally Durden apparently attended but they virtually reported nothing about the case, ITV don't seem to have reported anything and nobody even attended from the forum this time ,finally, the club's own website couldn't have said less if it had tried. It's hard to believe so much was at stake as we get better reports about meaningless mid week reserve friendlies!!!

I believe it was a waste of time but fully respect NH for trying. Why waste £150 per day in travelling costs when no-one was to be cross examined and it was just a argument about a previous Judges interpretation of the facts presented before her.
I heard those arguments at the case in May. I was not convinced, one of our own legal team was not convinced and unless a "rabbit" is pulled out of a hat, I cannot see the result changing.
Just one point. Did we try to negotiate a last minute agreement with Sainsbury? I have no idea on the answer but would not be surprised if we did.
