Depends on what other offers he turned down or refused to engage with.

Good move or Bad move - we will learn in time but what do we think today? You should know based on your name Complete buy out - all Directors sold their shares - but will be Vice Presidents. Supporters Club Directors remain on the Board.

I'm fearing sold out as I was hoping they'd announce the diggers were going in on Monday and Towel was going to be the first signing to help us get out of Div 2 this season.

Good move or Bad move - we will learn in time but what do we think today? The deal is done good or bad we have to deal with whatever the reality is. All I can say is that at this moment, after fifty years of watching Rovers I am more optimistic about our future than I have ever been.

Looks a good deal to me!
Ambitious new owner, chairman who has done a bit with Swansea and Barry Bradshaw's marketing dept closed down!
What can possibly go wrong!!!?

Good deal. Said all the right things. If they wanted to f**k about and play the football chairman they would have bought 40% of some team like Yeovil. Instead they bought all the shares they could (it seems) and talked about steady development and investment in the future, and are clearly going to build the UWE (not sure how people got the impression they might not).

Going on the tweets the new owners said no more than NH has been saying over the years, I fear in a few months they'll say the UWE plans are no longer viable and they are now looking at revamping the Mem. Let's see if anything more is said in the post press conference interviews.

Let's see if anything more is said in the post press conference interviews. Well, a revamped Mem is not a problem. As long as it's properly revamped. Personally I'd prefer that to UWE. Me too. This is good, security for now and a future to be optimistic about. Whether its UWE or not is a bit of a moot point if we have money. No need to liquidate asset in a hurry will give us breathing space if needed, although I fully expect UWE to proceed as planned, so we do at least have options! I can't imagine why they would t but don't care too much if they don't as long as they invest in the mem instead. That wasn't an option if we had to sell it to keep afloat

I would think one aspect of the UWE our new owner is not delighted about is the fact we won't own the land, which was always slightly worrying. Perhaps that needs further discussion with UWE?
