Completely underwhelmed by what has been said so far. Evolution not Revolution We need to conclude the court case before any progress can be considered about a new stadium. Same as it ever was then! If you ignore the fact we have a rich owner now. That's only relavent if he's going to invest big money in the club? Where's the promise to build the UWE/invest in the squad. Also why does NH suggest the court case is no longer relavent but the new owners say the case has to be concluded first, as let's be honest NH wouldn't jump ship now if he thought we had the even slightest chance of winning the case?

Revolution = manager out, told what players to sign, kit colour change, change of club name!!?? No thanks. The club is on the upturn as they can obviously see. As for the stadium, next month needs to be got out of the way first That's what I took from that comment, appeasing people who were worried about a Cardiff scenario. There'd be no point starting on the ground if Sainsbury's stumping up is still technically an option.

I expected them to say UWE will be built irrespective of the court case outcome. They haven't said that though have they? They have. Where?

Buying the club, you know what is required - and this club needs a new stadium. "(The legal case) has to be sorted and finished before thinking of new stadium. "Once everything is in order and ready, the stadium has to be done for this club

After the attitude of some other foreign owners, this is fine for me. An owner who has an involvement in football in his own country but who knows England and, hopefully, what football clubs mean here. I would be more worried if there had been wild promises about what is about to happen. Two strong assets of the club are its fans and its current manager and there was nothing here to today to alienate fans or push DC out of the door

If he had said we'd be Champions League in 5 years I'd have been far more apprehensive. Seems they have their heads screwed on and that alleviates some of the concern IMO.

Anyone remember the ol' "no-one will talk about Bristol Rovers anymore" from Lansdown?
How's that going for ya, Steve?

The court case is still relevant, because if we lose, we own the Mem, and if we win, then Sainsbury's will own the Mem. Until that is sorted it may be difficult to sort out the financial plans.

This is exactly what Higgs has been saying for years. Well aren't you the life and f**king soul of the party. RD some of us have been Rovers fans for so long we can see the bigger picture, at the moment the new owners haven't promised us the UWE will be built, even the reduced capacity one, nor have they said they intend investing in the playing side or training facilities, once they do that I'll be content this is a good move.
