Obviously today's news got me tingling with excitement but it's the snowball effect that excites me more. This guy was schooled at Harvard, Ivy League contacts baby! The family have shares in HSBC bank, rich motha fakin contacts baby! This gets me going.

I hope we get some real football people in - one of Clarke's biggest limitations is that his contact book begins with non-league and ends with washed up old teammates like Lawrence.
I'd love it if we brought in Ollie for some kind of advisory role.

I absolutely wouldn't have him back as a manager if it meant binning DC, but someone with his network of FL contacts has to be of some use to a club like us. Even if it's not a formal position, he could do wonders as an intermediary.

No, no, no, no, no!
We are going forwards, not backwards.

Ollie is a legend in his own right but we would be taking a backward step IMO if we did that.

The bank is just one part of their business empire according to the very attractive Jordanian reporter interviewed on Points West tonight.

He might not be much of a manager these days, but then again, I'm not suggesting a coaching position or even an official job. We're going to need actual football contacts if we're to move forwards, and even if it's just sounding out players or managers regarding loans I'm sure he could be useful. Not signing, not scouting, basically a salesman. We aren't an attractive club and he's the most experienced 'football person' I can think of who'd be probably willing to help out now and then.

Think you will find we have suddenly become a very attractive club to football agents throughout the land and farther afield!

Personally' I think Ollie has us at heart.
If he came back I think he would and could be useful. Just my own opinion but I believe it enough.

I think Ollie will be as happy and excited as all of us tonight. I think him and DC already have a good mutual respect so I think he'd help as much as possible in a formal or non formal capacity.
