Certainly stamping down intent there Eastleigh. Not sure they have the fan base but they seem to have the cash to splash.
I just hope DC is right with wanting his signings more or less signed by 30 June when we start training.

Thinking about it I wouldn't really have wanted either Constable or Midson to sign for us as I believe a fit Brunt is better than both and even Harrold will probably score more than both given the right service (as he proved in his only fully fit full season for us).
It's pace we need - both out wide and up top. Just need to ask the question of would you rather have Brunt/Harrold or Midson/Constable. I honestly (feel free to argue with me here) would rather what we have as long as we add that all important pace to it.

Good shout gretschgas about brunt. I think we are lucky to have him providing he can stay fit. Still not convinced by harrold though. I cant see anyone coming in for him so he will prob stay but fancy something a bit faster up front myself. |

Agree Brunty could be that missing link for us and as long as fully fit could well terrorize defences this season.
As for Harrold, I believe he could be a good asset aswell this season but Im not sure I would start them together, maybe use MH as an impact sub!!!

Brunt will be like a new signing for us. He looked very good after we signed him and I don't think anyone can fault his attitude and commitment by paying for himself to go to America to make sure he is fully fit for the start of the new season.
As for Constable and Midson, both decent players at this level but not what we need with the players we already have in the squad.

Constable was of the pace last season and Midson should have scored against us at Wimbledon when mildenhall came rushing out and missed the ball.

Its ok taking your time on signings but surely no decent players will be hanging around with no club for long.
Good signing, Eastleigh are looking very strong up top.
