Fellas, I am gatecrashing your good news, because as a life long Villa fan, we haven't a single positive thing to talk about currently. I also own a house opposite the mem and was on the west country news about 4 years ago doorstepped in my dressing gown by a local reporter saying that I liked the mem and it should stay. Anyhoos, I still retain a lot of affection for the Gloucester Road and for the mem - and I know it isn't your original ground, but it would be a shame if BS7 lost your club. I know why the UWE is inevitable, BUT, I can't help feeling that the mem site has a ton of character and the Gloucester Road is great before and after the game, whereas at UWE you will be a captive audience forced to buy their over priced weak lager. And you also have the train station coming back to Ashley Down in the not too distant future.
If we move and many businesses go bust on glos rd, then tough sh** it just proves that those who opposed us were also coning the very same people.
If i had my way i would make it into a temporary traveller, gypsy site on one bit, hey and as you are all so green a recycling centre, and an unregulated temporary campsite for refugees, as lets face it most of your green buddies love this sort of thing.
You mention a train stop at ashley down, why waste money on that, oh i know so the wicked with of the west doesn't have to walk to far to get a train, well hello there is a train station in montpellier which give or take a few feet will be the same distance from the mem that ashley down would be oh and that one is already there but if that was used more the dopey mare from the greens wouldn't get any fake applause from her sycophantic hangers on would she.
Still you carry on like others remember you may own a few bricks and mortar on a street but that is all you don't own the area, you don't own the space out the front in the road. You certainly don't have the right to try and tell us we should stay.
You say you openly opposed the shameburys, did you also previously oppose ground expansion, you love the vibe and feeling of matchday, you then say(or should it be softly gloat) that it isnt our original ground(well screw me with a wet fish called dave i and every other gashead never knew that what an interesting fact) and it would be a shame if BS7 lost the club, is that the same people who have whined and opposed not only the club coming there but now leaving if your that concerned where the feck were you all the while we have been struggling, how much have you paid the club for evidently entertaining you on home days and nights, probably nothing, but now there's a chance we might be off soon ,everyone comes a crawling with bullcrap tales of we want you to stay.
Yes the uwe may be a soulless bowl with warm lager, but the drink also sums up those crappy little trendy bollock joints on glos rd ,overpriced crap vile food ,warm drinks, two faced money grabbing owners(not all but the majority)
The main difference is this at uwe we will be paying our beer money to the club not some scabby little business who want peoples money on matchday but still whine about us behind closed doors.
So yup people like yourself have got the false utopia that non bristolians think is a trendy up and coming town centre, well it's yours pay over the odds for sh**e produce, carry on slamming each others dicks in the doors whilst you proudly proclaim your green identity whilst crying inside and blaming us because you suddenly have to pay more to keep those shops open on your fake town centre.
Yes i think you may have twisted my nipples a tad.
Villa fan what the feck are you doing living in bristol
yes Inee!
