Keep having to stop myself from getting teary haha. Yesterday something happened that I've wanted to happen for SO long.
If we win today I'll probably feel so good that I will just cry! Stuff it though, Rovers means THAT much!

Having supported them through the dark days, if you aren't emotional how can you call yourself a Gashead?
Just hope my grandsons benefit from all we had to put up with.

It got me as i sure it did many others, because as soon as the news broke I mediately wanted to call my Father and Grandfather who were life long Rovers from the 1930's who introduced my father who consequently introduced me, where as a boy listening to tales of Bradford,Pitt, Bamford going to Newcastle was the daily diet.
like many others Gasheads who will know in their own families and social circles people that are no longer with us. I know they would have been so pleased about yesterday, they like I would never have dreamt to dream of such a thing.

Yeah, completely understand this. My grandad introduced me and took me to Eastville. He saw their first ever home league match against Newport (I think) in 1921(?) so it is a special moment to link the generations. UTG!
