I'm sure Clarke knew of the interest just not that a deal had been tied up? Or did he not know about the interest? Haven't listened to what he said. They've already said they like Clarkes management style and that they'll back him. Going back on their word will do them no favours. Rumours flying around but no official word from board to DC. He didn't sound happy at all, although he said it was great for the fans and it gives the club a chance to 'improve infrastructure, which currently is nowhere near good enough for a club of this size' Bit strange especially considering they said they've been hanging around for so long and the fact that they seem to know DC enough to come out and be positive about him. That said, I wouldn't have expected the likes of Higgs to use their head and introduce them before the morning of the announcement.

Why? Other people were seeming leaking left right and centre and the last thing the team needs is to worry about anything off the pitch. Their job is to get three points per game, if they do that their jobs wouldn't be in doubt anyway... dropping a absolute bomb 24 hrs before a game isnt a great way to do things but we won anyway so onwards and upwards UTG ! Exactly!!

Massive credit to the players and management today for getting three points in the aftermath of everything that's happened this weekend. We looked so nervous in that first half but came out second half and battled away in true Rovers spirit. UTG

The red card was ridiculous! I think the guy got frustrated with Sincs, lol, the guy got so annoyed, after Sinclair tackled him, he grabbed his hair and gave it a fair old tug!

I'm still sure the rumours will have impacted performances at Accy and Pompy. We were all rabbiting about it so pretty sure it will have been getting talked about throughout the club and undermine confidence. You could tell from what DC said that it had been very unsettling and I am sure it will continue to be for a bit yet. Don't forget stability has been a massive contributor to our run of success and this really does create uncertainty for existing employees. I just hope its not for long

The most pleasing part for me was the interview with our new president on 20man, managed to catch it on my way home in the car. Says he's gonna have a meeting with DC about loan targets and see what he wants and what they can do basically, 20man asked him the right questions so it was a much better interview

I had my pony tail pulled twice playing football, and got sent off both times.

Pretty awful game in pretty awful conditions. The swirling gusty wind made controlling the ball especially hard, but we just seemed happy to lump it forward in the first half at every attempt.Their pen was very harsh i thought.
To their credit the players dug deep in the second half and tried to play more passing football and we just about deserved the three points. Although we got a lucky break from a terrible hash from their keeper from Leadbitters cross but it was very well poached by Gaffers. Morecombe are a big ugly awkward team and that was a vital win and 3 massive points. UTG.

Everyone of our squad was told by DC at the start of the season that if they weren't good enough for the top 7, that they be on their way! That still stands surely!?
I agree that he had to manage our expectations but I'm not expecting the Champions League until 2025!!!

The guy was at it all game. He got away with off the ball stuff quite a few times, then he got caught. The ref had a word with him - then the next time he got caught he sent him off. Totally deserved imo.

Don't overlook Mildenhall kept us in the game at 1-0 with a fine save, which I sense would have beaten Nicholls?

Do people really believe DC didn't know anything about what was going on? Yet every Tom, Dick and Harry on here did know.
