The most pleasing part for me was the interview with our new president on 20man, managed to catch it on my way home in the car. Says he's gonna have a meeting with DC about loan targets and see what he wants and what they can do basically, 20man asked him the right questions so it was a much better interview You mean to say interviewers can ask genuine questions now?

The red card was ridiculous! I think the guy got frustrated with Sincs, lol, the guy got so annoyed, after Sinclair tackled him, he grabbed his hair and gave it a fair old tug! The guy was at it all game. He got away with off the ball stuff quite a few times, then he got caught. The ref had a word with him - then the next time he got caught he sent him off. Totally deserved imo. Yeah, I thought he was lucky not to get carded twice when tussling with Sincs. It turned into an interesting little subplot between them and even Sincs had a little go back which I thought probably deserved a card. I love it when little battles like that happen, and end up with such a satisfactory conclusion. Even his team mate was saying something like 'you Dam idiot' to him as he left the field.

Do people really believe DC didn't know anything about what was going on? Yet every Tom, Dick and Harry on here did know. No, he said he'd heard loads of rumours flying about, but didn't get the full story until Friday morning. To be fair, afaik, the deal wasn't signed and sealed until late Thursday evening, anyway.

I think 'knowing' is a bit of a stretch. DC said he'd heard the rumours, but obviously he isn't going to believe anything until NH and co. tell him.

Lets hope that the new owners will be more open and up front with DC , than the old board were, seems shocking that board members would talk to fans but not talk to the manager. hopefully from now on when DC get told something it becomes a reality.

NH did not attend today's game as he was feeling sick - as explained by a Vice President today.
Probably realised he was no longer Chairman.

Anyone else concerned about the interview with Wael? Was questioned about what he said to Darrell at the end of the game and didn't want to answer in-front of the cameras, if at all.
Maybe I'm just over thinking?

Maybe I'm just over thinking? I thought the same, but just read on FB Nigel Turner said they appeared to be fine, embraced and exchanged some words though he didn't hear what was said Maybe I am over thinking but getting the impression 20p and other journos seem to be pretty keen to question him at every twist and turn about DC's future

Maybe I'm just over thinking? Would they just get rid of the manager with the club in such a good position? Still feels so weird every time I think that we're owned by billionaires.

Personally, I think DC and the team will feel a massive amount of pressure to deliver. This is gonna be a big test. He had a good relationship with Higgs who lets be honest was pretty indebted to DC for what he did last year. Relationship with Wael starts from scratch.

Given he was apparently given a restricted budget compared to former managers was it really that good a relationship? DC may have been knocked out of his comfort zone but he appears to have a fantastic opportunity to progress under the new owners.

Still feels so weird every time I think that we're owned by billionaires. Would just like to see evidence of that. Still, they are worth a lot more than NH whoever he is/ was.

He had a good relationship with Higgs who lets be honest was pretty indebted to DC for what he did last year. Relationship with Wael starts from scratch. But Mr Wael can read a league table (from this year and the last two seasons as well). Plus he's hired a 'football man' to do the day-to-day football stuff. Let's be honest, if the takeover hadn't yet happened most of the posts about todays game would be about DC making a great tactical switch that changed the game after only 30 mins. Cons: got it wrong at the start. Pros: Brave enough to change it when most other managers would wait and also got it right (much better in the last 15 mins of the first half and the obvious success in the second half). I think he can be happy with his days work as we got 3 points and you can't get any more than that....

Not sure what you mean by that tbh lol but what I meant was I for one wasn't very happy with the questions that were asked in his "official club interview" 20man asked him more blunt to the point questions, and wael answered them with what I wanted to hear
