Blatter mk2,he turned a blind eye to the corruption when he was high up in the FIFA food chain and knew exactly what was going on.Word is that UEFA were going to withdraw from FIFA if the Arab bloke won.The delegates especially the African ones frightened that FIFA would die and the gravy train would end backed UEFAS candidate..............The corruption and pilfering can continue now just as it did before.

Infantino on his first day states that the World Cups in 2018 and the winter World Cup in Qatar 2022 will take place as planned.
No surprise really as I expect being Platinis right hand man he got a nice pay off from Qatar.

It stinks to high heaven, especially after the rumours that 2026 in the USA is a done deal (aka was a deal done during the election process). At least the Olympic Committee guys were better at pretending they were rooting out the corruption.... |
