It was great to meet up with the FFSC again last night. As well as the game the subject of what we do next came up.
The 1883 draw has been mentioned as well as other match sponsored games and helping local kids teams all of which we've done successfully.
As always I'm happy to go with the majority but personally I would rather see us look into an advertising hoarding rather than the 1883 draw.
I'd love to see us gain more members and I'm not sure really what benefits we got from the money we paid to enter the draw.
What do others think?

Tend to agree with you Hugo. I think hoarding will raise awareness of the FFSC and hopefully generate new members .
As long as the money goes to the club im happy.
Perhaps we can review nearer the closing date for the 1883 as it may well be that we dont have enough funds to enter.

Agree it was great to see the FFSC group again - both the old faces that have been along before, and some new ones. Thanks for all the hard work that went into another great night.
I tend to agree that we should think hard about what we do with our funds and how we show our support going forward. I'm not sure that clearing us out of funds completely to enter the 1883 draw again is the best use of our resources and support. I must admit I'm not sure what would be best, but I like the fact that the youth academy that we support through our provision of kit seems to be bearing fruit - perhaps would could see if that is an avenue for us to do a bit more, or something else specific to support younger players coming through - clearly though we need to ensure we don't tread on the Supporters clubs toes. I guess ideally we should do something that others won't do - so that the funds we provide are over and above what the club would have got anyway.

Some of the younger academy teams that play up at Golden Hill do not have blue and white quartered kits,so that may be a thought? Also at the Supporters Club quiz last week the raffle money was given to the academy to help towards a football trip to (I think Holland) Maybe we can explore that route? I agree with not entering the 1883 draw again.

Splitting the fund between smaller causes rather than putting the majority of them in the 1883 draw would be my preference.
It was great to hear about the young lad that was signed last night and I'd like the FFSC to be more involved in stuff like that

I think that's a great idea, Hugo, if the prices are comparable. The money goes to the club and it affords the FFSC a great chance to grow.

There's nothing wrong with the size of my jumper, its the size of the man in it that's the problem.
