The change from 2pts to 3pts for a win, allied to the play-off system, has been a fantastic change for the better in football. And pass backs? How that was acceptable for so long is a joke. Watching old games is painful as there's no tempo to it.

The biggest thing that needs to change is when players obstruct an opponent to allow the ball to run for a goal kick or corner without making any attempt to play the ball. Anywhere else on the pitch and its blatant obstruction. It's something that's crept in to the game over the last 20 years or so because refs don't do anything about it anymore. It really needs looking at because it slows the game down so much.

Well the most important thing was to for us to win, I guess Portsmouth win isn't so bad as Accrington still have a game in hand although with their tough and busy fixtures coming up I could see them maybe dropping off a little.
The table looks better than this time yesterday! On to Saturday we go.
