Mildenhall 8 Made some crucial saves.
Leadbitter 7.5 Defended well, got forward and used his pace to good effect. J. Clarke 7 Stuck to his defensive tasks well.
Lockyer 7.5 Had a battle royal with their center forward and came out on top. Parkes 7 Dogged no nonsense defending. Brown 7.5 Nice assist for the goal and got forward with some good runs and crosses. Also some great defending under pressure.
Mansell 8 Covered every blade of grass. O. Clarke 8 Solid in midfield and scored a good goal as well. Lines 9 Superb performance.
Taylor 7.5 Worked hard and scored another goal. Easter 7.5 Scored with a well placed header and could easily of had another. Some of his link up play in the first half was very good.
Subs: McBurnie 7.5 Looks very lively, wins headers, tracks back. McChrystal Not on long enough.
Crowd 7 Ref 6 Wimbledon 8 One of the best teams i have seen at the mem this season. Big,strong and pacy.It seemed every corner they took, they would score from. All hit with good delivery and all their players were a real handful in the tackle.
DC 10 Did his homework on Wimbledon and got it spot on tonight. Had we gone 4-4-2 i think the Dons would have caused us real problems.Who would have dropped montano and Mccrystal and called back ollie clark & Leads ? He set the team up to be hard to beat and it worked a treat.

A good time to be hitting a rich seam of form. Again there wasn't a below par performance on the pitch which is just as well because AFCW were no mugs and it was easy to see why they are play off contenders this season. Thought the sponsors got it spot on with Manse shading Linesy for MOTM. Only disappointment on the night was the officiating, this match deserved a better standard of Referee and assistants than what it got.
Mildenhall 8 Leadbitter 7 (Montano x) Clarke J. 7 Lockyer 7.5 Parkes 7 Brown 8 Mansell 9 (McChrystal x) Clarke O. 8 Lines 8.5 Easter 7 (McBurnie 7.5) Taylor 8
Ref 4 Crowd 7 AFC Wimbledon 8 Wombles star man: Ardley 10... Several players took the eye but it takes a bloody good coach to get a team as well-drilled and focused as they were ... Good job DC was up to the challenge for us.

Mildenhall 8.5 Crucial saves at crucial times, on top form.
Leadbitter 6 still out of sorts but works hard. J. Clarke 7 consistent game. Lockyer 7 hands full with a very fluid attack, won his headers. Parkes 7 read the game well got some vital blocks in. Brown 7.5 Good assist for Easter goal solid, composed and switched on.
Mansell 8 every blade of grass covered harried, hustled and won his battle. O. Clarke 8 great goal at a crucial time, just needs to add consistency then what a player. Lines 9 MOTM different gravy again, what a ball for Taylors goal.
Taylor 8 great shift and goal looked hungry. Easter 8 looked up for it could have scored more, assisted O.Clarkes goal by being first to ball.
Subs: McBurnie 6 looks decent. McChrystal 5 not on long.
Crowd 7 good turnout Ref 6 Wimbledon 7 very impressed with thier football. We were just a bit better than them.

My own opinions of the game:
Mildenhall 8.5 A string of crucial saves at 2-1 which kept us in the game, one outstanding one with his feet from a corner.
Leadbitter 6.5 An outlet when under pressure, but he wasn't in the game that much and could have been used more J. Clarke 7 Solid defensive performance Lockyer 7.5 Dealt well with Wimbledon's big men Parkes 7.5 A couple of well-timed challenges Brown 8 Put in on a plate for Easter and was more composed with Parkes alongside him again.
Mansell 7 Put a shift in to enable our three midfielders to cover their four. O. Clarke 7.5 Took his goal well and after that his whole game lifted. Linked well with McBurnie a few times when he came on. Lines 8 Got up and down the pitch better than any other player. Involved in key moments with a block and then the assisst for Taylor's goal
Taylor 7.5 I felt he linked up a lot better with the midfield yesterday. his hold-up play made up for missing Gaffney and he showed he can finish a one-on-one Easter 7 Nice finish, after I had wondered why we kept putting crosses in to him and Taylor. All-round play was better after the goal as well.
Subs: McBurnie 6.5 Looked promising and had some good runs with the ball. McChrystal 6 Came on to do a job in shoring up the defence, but to be honest I thought we'd tightened up anyway by the time he came on
Crowd 7 Ref 3 He let a few fouls go early on and after that it became a bit of a free-for-all and he lost control. Wasn't helped by probably the worst pair of linesman I've seen for a while. Wimbledon 7 Caused us problems with some nice movement between the lines. Weren't afraid to use their physicality after the ref had let it go unpunished. Maybe they

Sorry all for the delay, but the results are completed now and Chris Lines is Man of the Match for the second game in a row.
The team average was 7.56, and for only the third game this season and second since the opening day, Tom Lockyer scored less then the team average.
The team average of 7.56 was the third highest of the season, behind the 7.58 and 7.59 against Luton and Barnet in the third and fourth games of the season. Only one score was higher last season, 7.73 in the play-off semi second leg.
Leadbitter's score of 6.54 was the lowest in the starting XI, only in the away wins at Hartlepool and Oxford was the lowest score higher than that, 6.83 both times.
Mildenhall 8.2
Leadbitter 6.5 J. Clarke 7.0 Lockyer 7.5 Parkes 7.2 Brown 7.6
Mansell 7.6 O. Clarke 7.7 Lines 8.6
Taylor 7.8 Easter 7.4
Subs: McBurnie 6.7 McChrystal 5.7 Montano n/a
Crowd 6.9 Ref 5.9 Wimbledon 7.6
