No dramas. out of interest, what conversion rate do you require from a Bristol rovers striker to see him as a success? Never really thought about that, but Taylors chances/ goals ratio is pretty poor. Some of the misses have been really bad, he is however better than Easter. www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/league-two/top-scorersThe bit that interests you is the shots on target percentage where his is higher than the majority. Roofe has had 87 shots compared to Taylors 69 and has scored 5 less :/

When you see it put like that , that really is a great achievement, especially because this season is his first as a football league player , I can't believe certain individuals still criticise him , messi missed a penalty yesterday what a rubbish footballer ! Lol

So we have a manager that has won 50 out of 100 games. And a striker who has scored 31 goals in 66 games.
Clueless and Useless are doing quite well.

Hehe I guess you haven't seen my question in regards to why you think Matty Taylor did so bad so I will ask again , in your opinion which is respected what did Taylor do that was in your eyes so bad to warrant you saying it was a pathetic performance, again I mean no offence I am just interested in your thoughts.

It's boring and I'm tired of you slating him and DC every week with no consistent justification.

He did jack sh** during that match and was on the verge of being substituted. He scored, meaning we won without that goal we would have drawn at best, or could have even lost. Mildenhall did little yesterday apart from one brilliant save, so using your logic he was also pathetic? Not sure if you just have a personal hated of Taylor or are just a WUM, but whatever it's all a bit odd/sad for somebody who's apparently a long term fan. As 20 gaols before Easter is pretty impressive going for a Rovers player, plus 5 assists when JJOT's only manged 1 in a table topping team.

Bloke near me was insistent on slagging off MT, even when he was subbed having scored the winner.
Funny thing is people gush over strikers like Cureton, yet him and hundreds of other strikers in this country are similar to Taylor. Seem to do nothing but they are positionally aware, get goals even when they don't play well.

Thanks for the reply interesting view I thought he had a rather quiet game due to the tactics deployed by Mansfield, meaning every man back behind the ball and try to contain which I thought they did rather well, it was going to take something special to break Down that stubborn defence , and luckily our 20 goals this season striker managed to tap the ball home from a sublime pass from montano. I will agree to disagree. Please don't take this as an attack it's just my opinion. UTG

Anyone get a view on the McBurnie yellow?
Looked like a clear Penalty to me - he didn't seem to have a reason to go down looking.
