Thought it was a good game and thought Cambridge looked a decent side. They certainly never gave up after going 2 down and I didn't think the game was a done deal until the third went in. I think DC thought the same as he went a little crazzzzy in his celebration! I agree, but Derry didn't seem to. He basically said, Rovers weren't gonna give up a two goal lead so I made the substitutions with an eye to Monday's game.

i felt cambridges tactics of pushing up and pressing and attacking made it such a wide open game in the 1st half and they were a little unlucky to be 2-0 down. but they couldnt sustain that style in the 2nd half and we closed the game out very well. im a bit worried about ollie clarkes injury as were very short in the centre midfield area because of injuries at the moment

Yep, proper football. Both teams turned up looking to win and both tried to win pretty much till the end. Thats what I pay my hard earned for. Loved the DC comment about it being so boring 3 years ago, he was bang on. We have put up with drivel! Nice to see some old faces returning yesterday too

Probably to avoid suspensions rather than fitness, that no 21 was cruising for a red and I think the other guy was on a yellow too wasn't he?

We coped well without Lockyer which must give DC confidence should we loose him to injury on the run in Really enjoyed watching the highlights several times over. Middy was my MOTM

Middy was my MOTM Wouldn't say we coped well - shaky would be my word especially first half. One example, James clark under little pressure headed backwards, McChrystal tried to mop up but fell over - to the great credit of Leadbitter and a few others they swarmed all round the Cambridge guy and we scrambled it away. There were a few of those in the first half - Lockyer very much missed.
