Yes they have...........Oxfords Last four home games ...... Oxford Utd 1 stevenage 1 Oxford Utd 4 Dag & Red 0 Oxford Utd 0 Orient 1 Oxford Utd 4 York 0 Perhaps deebs meant to add, "apart from the games they've won 4-0"? Oxford, apart from struggling Plymouth, have the worse current form in the top 5, having won 2, drawn 2, lost 1 in their last 5 games. Plus they have the distraction of the JPT Final and also, subject to the appeal outcome, lost one their regular first team players for 2 league games due to suspension. What I meant to say was they've only won once at home since we beat them, but even that would of been wrong as I have since noticed that they've won 2 ? Anyway Oxford's home form since January is poor. I am extremely confident that we will finish 2nd. Even with players out through injury and our best player missing it doesn't seem to affect us, we keep going from strength to strength. We are scoring goals and not conceding many, and playing some great stuff.

I'd take our games over any other teams. What I think gives us an added advantage is last season, when we were in a similar position and therefore the manager and players understand the pressure they will be under.

I'm gonna put my neck on the line and say we're likely to finish 3rd. I don't think we'll win the playoffs if we end up there.

This is exactly how I feel, I honestly think we are playing so well and growing stronger as a squad week by week and game by game and wouldn't be surprised if we went on to win at least 7 of the last 9, I reckon we'll win all 5 at home and then 2 or maybe all 3 from York, Stevenage and Carlisle.

Interestingly, Oxford have not won in their last 6 home games since we beat them 2-1 at The Kassam back in January. I really believe we are going to get 2nd spot. We are on fire at the moment and scoring for fun, we have got momentum and have hit top form at the right time. i think we could well be in top 3 on 7th may. not sure where though, or who would be 2nd if we were 3rd. very happy with our run-in although Accy's looks even 'easier' than ours. patience may be the key, because there is a chance we could be out of auto spots by monday evening; everyone else has even more winnable games than us.

I have a bad feeling about Carlisle, I feel we may come back empty-handed. However I think we will take a point from Northampton and those two are our toughest remaining fixtures. Wins all the way apart from those two. 3rd place finish.

In their last 6 games, Carlisle have drew five and lost the other one heavily to Northampton.
Rovers have won six on the trot.
Theres only one winner surely?

The average points thing is interesting, but suspect our run in would look a better average without Northampton .... Point there would be decent but don't think a win is impossible - we are more likely to beat the leaders and lose against Yeovil !!

Yeah, Northampton adds 10 points to the average, so without them our score would be easily the lowest. If we just count any points won there as a bonus, and look at the rest of the games, it looks pretty good.

Could Northampton either be promoted or just need a point/stop us winning to gain promotion by the time we play them, if so, it could be either a party atmosphere at Sixfields or ultra nervy? If we beat Carlisle I can't see anything but nerves stopping us finishing in the top 3, as by the Crawley game we'll have the 3 U21's back plus probably Mansell & Sincs and Gosling back from his loan spell Amazingly a full strength squad for our last half a dozen games.

what is also important will be the quality of refereeing, a couple of bad decisions for any of the teams in the run in could be disasterous.........
I really think we need the third place finish as I dont fancy us playing the likely teams in the playoffs

Yes they could be either champions or guaranteed promotion by the time we play them,a lot of results would have to fall right though for this to happen. Most important one - Oxford must lose tomorrow as it's the only game they play b4 we visit Northampton. Northampton would then need to win both of their games b4 they play us,and if none of us,Accy or Plymouth win both of our next 2 games then Northampton would be champions b4 our fixture against them. getting complicated a bit but if all the above results occurred, with ourselves Accy and Plymouth all picking up 4 pts in the next 2 games (just to simplify things slightly)then the table with 6 games left for everyone would be :- Northampton 91 Oxford 72 Rovers 72 Plymouth 72 Accrington 71 There are various other combination that could happen to guarantee Northampton are promoted b4 we play them, but there are a lot so I'll pass on those! Bottom line if your a Northampton supporter 3 wins secures the title. simples innit.

Correct me if I'm wrong...... Since the start of December BRFC have won nine and drawn one at home . This would suggest the team would win all the remaining home games =12 pts. Since that same point they have won four, lost four and drawn one away. This would suggest 2 wins and 2 defeats on the road =6pts So 68 + 6 + 12=86pts. That's a good tally ,now let the other teams worry about hitting that target.
