The difference this time is the expectations have come from us being strong all season, it's not something we have placed on ourselves before the season even kicked off. Regardless of where we finish, I'm happy. Yes it will be disappointing if we missed out on the prayoffs after the form we've been in but if you asked me at the start of the season for a finish outside the top 7 I would have snapped your hand off. I will go into next season expecting nothing less than a top 3 finish though with DC still at the helm and an improved budget. For the first season in many years (since well before 2006/07, and especially if we exclude last year's holiday) we've been strong all season. The message I would send to the players is we will be behind you home and away until the end of the season. I firmly believe Rovers fans can help us win points over the remaining games this season, but as players you have to do the hard work to allow us to help you achieve what we all want us to achieve.

To be fair we weren't great all season in 2006/07. We had an amazing run in the last 10 or so games.
The last two years are the first time since 1999/2000 we've been strong for the majority of the season.

My message for the players....
If it moves, kick it. If it doesn't move, kick it until it does.
There endeth my tactical lesson.
