Well, I wouldn't read too much into that. Not saying it's going to be 21k or any definite figure, but the video isn't from an official/authentic source and they've not used any UWE image we haven't seen before. Saying that, hope the exterior design doesn't change too radically, some of those stadiums are like spaceships! And that Southend one, what the hell?
P.S. - You could anonymously change it to 35k if you wanted Stuart!!

I do wonder if the relatively low profile of stadium news, such as it is, is also a decision not to distract from the playing side and a more detailed announcement will wait until after the season has ended.
While a further two seasons at the Mem (if that is what we are looking at) won't necessarily entice players to stay or join, it would be a great statement of intent.

Birmingham looking to build a 55k stadium?
If you consider the size of Birmingham they are one of the worst supported sides in the country.
A far smaller club than Villa, West Brom and Wolves, talk about delusions of grandeur.
Maybe it's just clubs with the initials B.C.F.C

Yeah we have surely got two more years at the Mem, I'm sure I read before that there are rules against moving stadium during a season? We'd have to start pretty pronto and get in a lot of overtime work to get anything ready in time for 2017/18.

What's wrong with a simple exterior design? Some of those stadiums look w*nk! The Chelsea one looks like something Picasso designed whilst watered!

I also recall 66 mentioned and I guess that money could buy a slightly shorter build time, but surely not that much. Call it up to 70 with contingency and a test run. Add to that Henbury's comment a while ago about adding 6 months to an amended plan (but not full redesign which would mean starting again) then I would expect an announcement in the Summer, agreement with the Council reached by year end and starting in March 2017 for completion by May 2018. If we tried to have it ready for August 2017 then we would need to start about now.

It's pretty certain we are at the Mem for at least another two seasons. Remember the car park has to be built first, and that won't begin until Sept/Oct time.

I was enjoying watching that until Trashton popped up.
My favourite has to be West Ham's new stadium, because I own it.

The capacities were interesting, methinks one-upmanship on the part of Tottenham (and Ashton Gate ?). Why is York's 8,005? Seems an odd number when others are round figures.
Seems the Premiership big boys are looking at around 60,000 as a standard.
