Just like last year, it seems unlikely in my opinion The Beard will play a part in the final games. Even if recovered, he's not match fit and therefore a risk which DC will be unlikely to take at such a crucial stage.
I don't know how he's looked in training so I might be wrong. I hope I am, because it's sad that a player who gives everything for the team, and has become a bit of a cult hero, might miss out two years running.

He might be our lucky mascot. If we get promoted this year, give him a new contract, and round about next January, break his leg.

Thing with Stuey is, the day he is able to run, he'll be fully fit. So let's hope that's soon.

2nd year in a row we have hit our best form when he hasnt been in the side...........
Not fishing, just pointing out the fact. I think he's a cracking player but I'd argue we are a much better "team" and play much more expansive football when he isnt in the side.

Felt we could've done with him in the last 30 against Exeter. Got the job done though.

Sinclair runs so hard, I think Lines sits back too much with Sincs in the team. Both good players though. I also think Sincs could come on the flanks also. And will play RB if needed. So he's certainly needed in the 16.

Apart from throwing away a point at Carlisle chasing the win I'm not sure you could pin point any match where SS would have made a big difference away from home recently? It would be interesting to compare our results with Lines or Manell & Sincs in the middle compared to Lines & Mansell as I sense the latter are far more effective partnership?

Much as I like the beard, since the run-in last season I've believed we look more balanced with Lines and Manse. They just seem to work together better than any other combination.

So you don't want Sinclair fit and available, also we won more games away when he was available, thats not saying I disagree that Lines and Mansell are not our best midfield pairing just it would be better if he was at least on the bench. Also I believe he makes the 3-5-2 formation work better when we play that way.

No, just saying the stats probably suggest we're better with a different midfield pairing than Lines & Sinces, so there's no guarantee our away form would be better if he was fit. Although it would be great to have him back before the end of the season.

He was the only one to turn up at Accrington, after the first 15 minutes the rest of the team weren't there,Sinclair kept running until the final whistle, put in a crunching tackle on Crooks when he was running through,Sinclair must have been hurt as he went down for a while on that cold wet ground but he got up shook himself off and carried on....heart of a lion that bloke, helped to give Rovers some pride back in the last 2 seasons. I have seen better players but not many who would outrun or outwork Sinclair I have enjoyed watching him play, one day he will move on but I think that he will be long remembered as a very honest player who always gave 100%....a Rovers 'legend' even.
