If we did end up in the play offs, does anyone know what dates we would most likely be playing?

I dunno how everyone is so positive. I feel gutted right now. Really feel Wycombe next week at Oxford is our slight hope left. People can say we have had a good season whatever which yes we have but that can't mask up how disappointed I feel right now. Disappointed with what? All we had to do was win today and we did. Lighten up, we go into next week chasing Oxford and Accrington. The pressure will be on them a lot more than us.

OK - so 2 years back we were safe from relegation having beaten Wycombe the game before last - we couldn't fail to stay up could we! So why is there NO CHANCE that either Oxford or Accrington will fail to win next Saturday whilst Rovers win against D & R i.e. the opposite of what happened to us? I think the game next Saturday could end up being more enjoyable because we're doing the chasing, not the ones being chased. IF we score early and one or both the others don't the pressure will build on them. Either way, it's been our best ever 4th tier season and I'd be reasonably confident about the playoffs if it comes to that. This.

Sorry if I've missed it already but was there any news on Matty Taylor's injury?

How poetic would it be to only be in 3rd place for the last minute of the season. Footballs a funny old game. You only have to go back to the best way to win the prem against your rivals. Let them think they have won it with two minutes left and then score two quick goals. God I would have loved that if I was a Man City fan. Almost at poetic as having a game postponed due to your stand being set of fire by your rivals and then be rearranged as the penultimate game. The rest as they say is history. (Happy 2nd of May everyone!).

I agree it doesn't look good... But remember this... Imagine how nervous Poxford and Accy will be come next Saturday... Same as us really. All three clubs need to win is the way all three clubs will see it.

I'm not criticising us just felt this was our best opportunity of getting top 3 and for a long time today it looked possible one might slip up.

About an hour ago I was feeling totally gutted about Accy's winner. However on reflection, even though we all probably thought this week was the more likely week for our rivals to drop points, I'm feeling more optimistic about our situation.
It'll certainly get interesting if Accy or Oxford go behind and have to score at least twice to win...
Even if it doesn't work out Wimbledon is a decent draw in the play offs and we'll have the second leg at our place. Definitely in with a good chance of going up via play offs...

No way I'm going to feel disappointed after teaching a team a lesson at their own ground.

What a weird atmosphere, sat amongst very placid but disappointed York fans, who didn't raise one song over the whole 90 minutes, looking across at our brilliant support, who celebrated wildly for a minute before realising Accy had scored and not Wycombe. Gut-wrenching. Then, apart from a brief show of love with Manse, it was like a morgue for the last 10 minutes, all around the ground. I am gutted, too. I totally understand GGMI's reaction. When that disappointment wears off though, we have so much to be proud of in our team. We are still in with a chance - pressure can do funny things, and Oxford and Accy will feel it next week. If it's to be the play offs then we have to fancy our chances. If Taylor is injured we have three good strikers champing at the bit. If we don't go up, we're in good shape for next year on and off the field. There are real positives in every scenario. UTG!

Christ some of the negativity on here. We did our bit. Nothing more we can do. No use thinking about past games, that's gone. Accrington won again- fair play, they're holding their nerve.

Accers have conceded more at home than away and not picked up three points in half their home matches,Oxford have a better away record aswell,so still all to play for.

Yep, fair play. I can totally understand why anyone who was there today felt gutted. We went through the wringer. Don't understand why you were getting grief.
