True! Still think oxford have the most to lose, after being in top 3 the longest, and they're going to blow it! But always good to have a plan B. Shame that every team below Cambridge in this div are p**s poor atm. Not Stevenage ! and they are away to Accie !

Right, this ain't over, who would have thought West Brom would have drawn at Spurs, so let's keep believing, we can still do this! We have momentum for the play offs, and nothing is guaranteed, however think we are gong up via whatever route

It's not over until it's over but after two years of falling at the last hurdle you have to fear the worse. Although just how great will it feel if come 5pm next Saturday we're then a Div 1 club.

I really don't think I can to another trip to Wembley. Today was terrible for the nerves. It now feels like Alfreton - win as big as we like and it may not be enough

another hindsight warrior Well I was at Stevenage so my hindsight is 20/20 and that team were devoid of ideas, inspiration and how to play in the three formations asked of them we've been tonking pretty much everything in sight for six months and watering about giving respect to lowly never gonna be's was not the way to approach this run in anyone that was there knows that wasn't late season rovers, so the pivotal run in game remains the one that may haunt me happy clapping i feel that we have struggled in centre midfield during mansell and sinclairs injury and i can understand why dc played an extra man in that area v stevenage,of course in hindsight it may have been a mistake,we have done well but most of the games ive seen have been pretty even, not seen us tonking many teams

At worse we've managed to avoid Plymuff & Pompey in the Play off semi's.

Come on get real, how many of you would have thought we would be in this position at the start of the season, that one twist may still happen and up we go, or have another chance via the playoffs, enjoy it whatever happens. If we don't achieve what most of you may have thought impossible at the start of the season, we must be one of the favourites next season to gain promotion. My money is on that twist will still happen in our favour next Saturday and up we go.

I feel really anxious about our run in. Will there be any horses available?

I would rather go up via the playoffs myself.A day out at wembley,40,000 gasheads vs 40,000 Plymouth or Portsmouth fans in a record crowd. However as good as this side is,and regardless of how bright our future maybe we have won our last two playoff finals and think the law of averages will be against us making in three in a row.
I still feel sick when thinking about losing the semi against Northampton in 1998 and don't want that feeling again so I'm 100% pulling for us to be in the top three come 5pm next Saturday afternoon.

Still confident we can do it next week and fate will be on our side, two year's ago on that ghastly day I was in Manchester watching the horror unfold on Sky before going out to dinner and Casino, spookily we are doing the same this year so I believe this time we will be celebrating! !!!!! UTG

I really really want automatic this year, mainly because its going to be very difficult for me to fly back for another Wembley final this year. Its about time we were lucky enough to get auto's. On the flip side, not going up this year wont be anywhere near as disastrous compared to not going up last year. We have the money to try and keep our best players and manager and even if some do go with some decent additions we should end up with a stronger squad.

Worst case scenario, accy and Oxford both win and we pick up a f**k load of injuries to key players goin for the win. If I was DC and accy and Oxford were up by say two or 3 I would take of our key players and tell the rest to chill and don't get injured even if it made us lose.

Wael and DC have a fist fight on the pitch, UWE goes bankrupt and is forced to sell everything it has to Bristol Sport Ltd, the Beard signs for City, the West stand burns down, and Jordan is invaded by ISIS.

We've avoid Fratton Park. That's big for me.
If we go up automatically even better. We have a real shot in the playoffs to.

It should be remembered this has been a split season. The first half saw a promoted rovers fail to come to terms at home with this level of team. Losing a lot of home games but keeping in mind table by some good away performances, maybe based on other teams underestimating rovers. The second half of the season saw rovers come to terms with league two and learn how to win home games which they did over and over. This home form and the earlier away form made teams take rovers seriously which had a big affect on the Rovers away form. Rovers then struggled to get so many away points but home confidence grew in the players and fans and made other teams worry about visiting the mem. So to be in with a chance of direct promotion on the final day really does show how well over half a season the club have done.
Worst case scenario....league two football next season, with a team that is confident at home and other teams won't want to visit. The next stage...grind out the ugly away wins to finish top three without last day nerves.

All if's and buts but I guess everyone has plenty of them bar Northampton...

If it comes to the worse and we're still in Div 2 next season then assuming Plymuff or Pompey go up, then along with Northampton, Oxford we've lost 3 of the best supported teams in this division, the 4 coming down are also hardly big clubs, so in theory gaining promotion next season maybe a bit easier, with only really Luton left as a "big" club likely to be able to match our salary budget unless am missing somebody?
