Did you know, that on May 1st every year, in Dorset they have a Knob Throwing contest?
No, you don't have to throw me.
Apparently thousands of people attended a 'knob throwing' contest at Cattistock. Current record holder Dave Phillips threw his knob 96 feet in 2012, a record yet to be beaten. Other interesting side contests included 'Guess the weight of The Big Knob' and a 'Knob and Spoon Race', I kid you not.
Before you ask, a Dorset Knob is a biscuit textured bun!
