Thought the referee yesterday was spot on and handled the pressure very well for such a huge game. What a day to be a gashead still can't believe it!!

Stuart Attwell and his assistants were excellent - and I can't think of a decision that I disagreed with. Having said that D & R played their part in a fair way.

Ha ha yes, he was pretty good. He definately had eagle eyes. I see Browner got booked, persumably for taking his shirt off! He was only visible for about a quarter of a microsecond before he was buried under a pile of miscellaneous players and subs.

Did everything right until he booked Browner for taking his shirt off.
Something seriously wrong with refs! Last minute goal to get promotion and he's pulling out a card! Have a day off you belter!!

It's ok. He was just doing his job, and it doesn't matter because the season is over, so the booking doesn't really count does it!

Well,he was better than the park football refs we usually have and let the game flow a touch but I have never seen so many handballs in a game. And none were punished by memory and just yards from the ref. It wasn't a dirty game which made his job easier. The Lino on the West Stand side was just your usual Lino imo. Half asleep.

I fully support Brown's reaction and for once wouldn't condemn him for totally losing it but taking your shirt off is a booking and the referees job is to uphold the law of the game regardless of the situation.
Perhaps the fact that the ref booked him just goes to show what a good game the ref had on such an important day.

Not really the point is it.
If you cant take your shirt off and go mental in a moment like that then the game is becoming very very very sad with no soul.

Anyone in line with the play have an opinion on whether Brown was offside for the goal?

I totally agree - but the sad fact is that if he hadn't booked Browner, he probably would have got marked down if there was an FA assessor at the game. We often moan about referees not doing their job properly, so I guess we can't really moan about the booking. It is a stupid rule, and should be changed - nowt wrong with fit blokes taking their tops off!

Until 92 minutes I didn't even notice him so that's always a good sign. Re:-Browners booking. I did see the card given and it was done in an almost apologetic sorry mate its in the rules way

Also Dagenham played a fair, but tough, game. No timewasting, no bad tackles and only ever tried to stop us fairly. They could have acted like Crawley did, but they didn't.

The ref had a word with their keeper for time wasting on about 70 mins. He was at it all game, the only criticism I would have it he didn't speak to him earlier.
Had to book Browner, taking your shirt off is a bookable offence. Simples

When is that ridiculous "Don't take your shirt off rule" going to disappear? Really don't see the problem.
