Great video - Ellis's equaliser at Northampton wasn't quite the easy tap in I remember from the game.

Great stuff - 77 goals of sheer pleasure.
My favourite 5 ( choosing only one from each player)
Taylor's at Mansfield Bodin's v Newport Gaffney's v Orient (first goal) Brown's at Pompey Clarke's at Newport
tbo Taylor score 4 or 5 crackers.

Also Mansell's at York was a really good finish.

That video makes you realise how good of a finisher he really is!

Only 4 penalties too.
Ellis smashes every one of his straight down the middle.

So all of Brown's goals came following a set piece, until the final game.
Top moments for me: Sinclair against Luton Gaffney walking it into the net against Luton All of Bodin's finishes The crossfield pass from Ollie Clarke to the first-time volley from James Clarke to the finish from Taylor All the times we scored from a free-kick routine Taylor's backheel against Northampton

Saw all of those Mem live except the Barnet ones.
On review it is noticeable:
1) Gaffney gives us that ball to hit him at where the last defender is.
2) Easter is frequent presence despite playing a lot as sub. Clearly a key component.
3) Harrison got some important goals.
4) The beards winner in Sept? Madness? Who knew the importance of that at the time.
5) Leadbitter can get half a yard with ease.

Sinclair's reaction after the goal vs Yeovil is a huge amount of relief. Great to see.

Its clear that Gaffney brought the best out of Taylor. Hopefully they continue the partnership next season!

What a video. Completely forgot I was watching Wombles vs Accy. So nearly got me going again when they stop the music and just play Browner's goal in all its glory. What a season.

Its clear that Gaffney brought the best out of Taylor. Hopefully they continue the partnership next season! It's also clear how much we terrorised teams this season. How many years have we spent in this league saying how poor our opponents are? This year we finally put them to the sword.

Still can't get over that goal. I know you can probably say the same thing about every other moment of football, but it seems to be balanced so precariously on a bunch of stuff all happening exactly right, it's mental. Gos has the ball in midfield and he puts it through the blokes legs to Easter. Pretty ridiculous, at that stage of the game to try that. He cold have hoofed it up, or laid it back or played any safe ball, but he plays the most difficult ball he could. Just a fraction out and it would have hit one of the the bloke's shins and gone anywhere and that would have been that. But it goes straight to Easter who puts his through ball in. The defender outside Matty tries to intercept it, and must have missed it by inches. If he gets a toe to it, it goes to the defender and that's that, and we won't be getting another chance. Then Taylor shoots and the keeper just gets his finger tips to the ball. If he gets an extra 2 millimetres on it the ball hits the post at a different angle and bounces harmlessly to one of the defenders, who hoofs it downfield and we don't get another chance. Who knows, if he gets 2 millimetres less fingertip on the ball, maybe it hits the inside of the post at a different angle and bounces across the front of goal, too close to goal for Brown to get to it, and it's over. But instead it hits the post at exactly the right angle for it to come straight to Browner.
