Proper club with a history, too many of these tinpot manufactured clubs in the league these days, we don't need another.

Your opinion of course, but mine is that Dale Vince is a d**khead, and FGR are a plastic club with a negligible fanbase who would only be in the league because of being bankrolled by that eco-warrior nutjob.

Too right. I'm going against the grain for the crack mate, a wind up. f**k Grimsby. The Rovers for me full stop for mr. No plastic crap from me. I couldn't care two hoots who wins. But I'm certainly not envious of someone who has made millions and spends it how he wishes! How about yourself? So his beliefs are different from the norm,he does no one harm,I wouldn't have thought. From what I see he only brings out the envy in people. Sad people at that.

I just think Dale Vince talks a lot of complete nonsense, and whilst I respect his personal views, it really gets my goat when people force legions of others to follow their views due to their position of power. He took a nice little club called Forest Green Rovers, who played in Black and White stripes, and because he's a passionate green with a multi-million pound (I'd like to say I have no problem with greens/hippies/vegans/veggies at all) he for some reason decided to buy a club with "Green" in their name, change their kit colour to green, and force their players and fans to only be able to eat vegan food. Again I'll say I've no problem with people that choose that lifestyle, but I hate it when they try to make others do the same.

Not a bad game so far...FGR keeper makes a great save then follows it up with basic blunders to cost goals. Good goal from marsh brown for FGR.
Will FGR become the first village club to ever play in the football league ? Or Will Grimsby finally get that playoff victory ?
On Friday FGR had sold about 4000 tickets and Grimsby just over 10,000
Grimsby's PH is certainly a candidate to replace DC should he leave

Obviously that'll change a tad if they win

Don't forget he is a major employer in the area and is aiming to bring more jobs to the area. Whilst also hoping to build a better (!) Stadium in a location to cause less traffic issues for nailsworth . He is also giving local fans the chance to watch better quality football. So is not eating a real Cornish pasty such a hardship once a fortnight for 23 ish times ? To be honest when I first heard of Forest green rovers I assumed they would be wearing green so was surprised they were bath city look a likes. A change of kit is a good thing for some clubs...look at rovers...you wouldn't want to ditch the blue n white quarters would you for earlier kits ?

looks like most of the forest dwellers stayed at home. not enough to even call a crowd. Fortunately it looks like Grimsby back in the league.

Secondly Hurst has had numerous chances to get Grimsby promoted and isnt rated at all by their fans. Not the sort of manageroped I would want at rovers

Very happy for Grimsby, the rightful team of the 4 to go up, back where they belong at 3rd attempt. That 3rd goal from Arnold gave me a tingle like Igoe. Nice. Fish

Similar to our 3-1 win in 2007.
