Apparently, Indians were given their names depending on what the Father first saw as he left the teepee after the birth, hence the Indian names like Running Bear, Little Deer or Grey Smoke. You get the drift.
I once asked my dad, and he said I would have been called White Cloud.
I've just been on the phone with Baggins Dad, and Baggins would have been called Dog Dam Dog.
