So how have Bristol rovers ladies gone from being a good top level club playing in cup finals to being called Bristol city women and being in the shadow of yeovil town in league two ? Ironically the kind of league position the original Bristol city ladies team was at before being disbanded . Congratulations Bristol sport......

As in the mens game, money talks. The top flight teams in the ladies league have large amounts of money ploughed in. The likes of arsenal, Chelsea, Man City etc. Bristol ( I refuse to call them city, and wear my Rovers scarf when I watch them) have lost a lot of their best players because of this.
