yes he did and he whips a good cross in so im optimistic but not convinced by monty Thought he showed flashes of brilliance. His main problem was trying to fill the Monkhouse role which didn't come naturally to him. Delighted he's staying. yeah, it was an interesting one trying to find out how the Brown-Monky partnership had worked and how to re-create it or do something different. Yet another example of fiddling and experimenting and gelling. Add in a drop of patience and you can see why DC teams nearly always get better as the season progresses. Re Monty - Am I the only one who thinks his crossing can be quite poor though? I love the way he runs with the ball, but he should almost be instructed to run with it, and then do a short pass to someone with better crossing/passing. I lost count of the number of times he made a powerful run, knocked a hole in the oppo defence, and then nothing came from such a promising position (lost the ball / poor cross / poor pass). He almost needs someone following him to take the ball off him at the right time - a sort smash and pass tactic

Can't quite believe he's only 24, massive potential. A great crosser of the ball and all the raw attributes required for a winger. Bit of consistency and we are on to a good'un here.

Good squad player but hope to be proved wrong Would like to see Montano and Harrison getting more starts. They changed the game to get us a point against Cobblers. Loads of pace and strength along with another match saving goal from Ellis. Give them both starts. Matty can go on the bench while he decides whether he wants Celtic or Wigan !! Good luck Matty whatever you finally decide ! You do realise we're not playing any games at present don't you?

And let's not forget, he's already come a long way considering he was dubbed by some as "the worst Rovers player ever".

Monty is doing some 1-1 training, working on his agility amongst other things.

I guess if he was consistent he'd already be out of our reach, what's frustrating with Monty is that he's so inconsistent from game to game, personally I thought Dawson was more consistent.
