Tbf it is interesting. Clearly too good for league one but will he come back the same player? Will be interesting, potentially a very good signing.

Had he not gone to Prison he'd probably be in the Wales squad now. Wonder if he gets found not guilty on his retrial will people like Jess ennis apologise?

If he is found innocent at his retrial and as expected the evidence that could have cleared him first time round being allowed into this trial does clear him.
Is he allowed to sue the white trash strumpet who has ruined his career and cost him a playing at an International tournament?

Rape is such a difficult and emotive subject and its notoriously difficult to secure a conviction.
Being unable to prove rape and being cleared of rape does not necessarily mean the girl lied.
Of course it's equally possible that he didn't do anything wrong, however currently he has been convicted of rape so isn't actually due any apology and as things stand his victim deserves a little more respect.
If it turns out that she has completely lied then she is fair game and would deserve scorn for making things even worse for women everywhere who sadly feel that the law does born serve them well in rape cases.
Either way it's all very sad.

In this case, I hope Ched is given a fair chance to resume his career if proven innocent.

His conviction has been quashed so currently he isn't guilty of anything. He is still charged with the offence though, and so faces a retrial.

Interesting how footballers have killed people whilst drunk at the wheel of a car happily resumed their playing careers. Personally I would have thought that it is better to be raped when you are in a drunken stupor than it is to be mown down by a drink driver

It's fair to say that some victims of rape may feel it were they who had the worse deal. I don't think you can really rate and compare the two.

Utterly ridiculous thing to say you proper helmet ! Just meaning better to be alive than dead? or would you choose the latter? Judging by your ignorant comment I take it you don't know anyone who has been affected by the absolute horror that is rape? If you did I'm sure you wouldn't say such a thing, in answer to your question , I would choose death as rape will be with you until the day you die.
