Gaschat takes an unprecedented swerve into tax law. Technically it's a duty payable at importation, not tax. A duty defined as payable on an item upon which it has been levied by virtue of finance act. I stand corrected.

Jake "jogger" Gosling - I wonder how many games he'll play next season ?

Jake the snake will come good. Without his nutmeg pass we would still be in league 2. Don't forget that.

Jake will be a top player this coming season, bet he scores more goals than lines... (tin hat on)

I think he's a useful squad player - hopefully he'll carry on developing under DC.

I'd even back Leads to score more than Lines given his record last season.

It's still £500K/750K they could spend towards a proven goalscorer at least at Div 1 level. If he's such a good deal why aren't they Championship sides lining up to sign him? The only talk is Wigan might be interested but if was MT I'd sooner stay at Rovers. How do you know championship clubs aren't lining up to sign him. I've heard Brentford, Leeds, Wigan, Birmingham just off the top of my head. If you think he will stay then you'll letting your heart overrule your head. Assuming....it's always harder to score goals (as a team) in each division one climbs ,keeping the existing players plus having new players who can score seems the way forward (?) . Bodin and gaffney seemed to provide those extra goal sources last season (from the step up from national league). Stands to reason two or more players will join who can add to the tally...are Hartley and Moore's goal records enough of a boost ? Probably not so another scorer at least will come in . Whether that's striker or other position I don't know. If Taylor leaves then maybe an additional two players will be needed (not necessarily both strikers) to add to the goal potential. Not having the potential goal providers will see a season of mid-table or struggle. Of course the door is open for other existing players to suddenly find their scoring skills

It's true as Gosling was outstanding when he replaced the poorly performing Montano against D&R, and he helped set up our last minute goal.

It's true as Gosling was outstanding when he replaced the poorly performing Montano against D&R, and he helped set up our last minute goal. How does Gas-ed know the results of play off games that never happened? And how does Gas-ed know that had another player been on instead of Gosling that a goal wouldn't have been scored? Strange what some strange people accept as 'truth' on here.
