No hurry for the new kits. When I'm on holiday I prefer to strut menacingly up and down the promenade in last seasons strip. Not gonna wreck a new shirt whilst getting involved in a bit of slap and grapple with some bonehead. You should all do likewise.

Solid blue, bit like a Chelsea kit....could we be the next Swansea? Saying that, we've been all blue before but I thought that was crap and the quarters are where it's at

True. I haven't dared leave the house for a week now. Is there no end to the shame?

Does seem a bit of a nonsense to hold back the new kit until the Open Day, with it being so late this year. At least announce it and let the team play in it until it's on sale.
And we've definitely missed a trick not releasing it during the summer. One of the few shirts I bought as an adult was solely due to it being on sale the day before I went on holiday. I remember proudly wandering down the street in Faliraki with it on when a group of lads coming rushing out of a bar towards me. I though uh oh Teds but it was just a bunch of Gasheads eager to see the new shirt 😂

Down to being between seasons and a need for some to moan about something, a pretty crap thread on farcebook within the non-appreciation group about it. By all accounts there is a delay at the manufacturers, bring back Errea and Boycie I say Must get to the Mem next week and watch the team/squad in action, the Capt tells me the team spirit is as good as ever. He has been to watch them at Cribbs in pre-season training.

So what will the players be wearing for the 2 big home friendlies against Swansea and Villa? Surely not those cobbled together T shirts? Does make a statement - unfortunately the wrong one! The grey hooped and flourescent yellow training kit would be better.

The new kit timing each year is linked to the sponsor raffle.
The club need to do the raffle earlier, sort next seasons sponsor earlier then get the kit out earlier.
Good income stream over May June July
The new kit gets worn out and about by fans over the summer and that's a walking advert for the club and sponsor while the weather is warmer.

If not we'll look more "rag bag Rovers" than we've ever done.
