The new kit timing each year is linked to the sponsor raffle. The club need to do the raffle earlier, sort next seasons sponsor earlier then get the kit out earlier. Good income stream over May June July The new kit gets worn out and about by fans over the summer and that's a walking advert for the club and sponsor while the weather is warmer. Will be interesting what the new board do about sponsorship next season. This time they kept the raffle as it was already happening.
I wouldn't be surprised for it to not happen for next season and us try and source a sponsor in the 'normal' way, especially if anything might be linked to the stadium project.

Surely there's more of a delay than usual this year because of the kit supplier change? Which to me seemed as if it may have been rushed through at the last minute by the new board who weren't enamoured by Errea. Just putting 2+2 together based on the press statement and the fact we've had the same kit supplier for years which suddenly changes at the point of new ownership.
