IMHO if we still had the old board we would now be without DC, Matty, Lee Brown and Tom Lockyer. We would be repeating the old cycle of looking for another manager and to replace the players we have sold off too cheaply to pay the bills. I'm not knocking the old board as we were under capitalised, just grateful that the new board have taken over. We now have stability in the present and real hope and ambition for the future. So much appreciated after years of struggle. UTG

also, as an add on to the above thoughts, it's time we moved away from talking about the old board now....
this season truly is the fresh beginning of BRFC....

To be fair to NH he kept all last season's better players following promotion and he must have approved DC's offer of contracts to all this season's squad if they achieved promotion last May.

I Wont knock the old board they did what they could. But it is great that now not only do we keep our best players but also have players that want to stay
