Otoole, best trainer and one of the quieter members of the squad.
Ward was to soft with Harrison, Clarke to hard on him.
Clarke will take us up eventually, rates him highly.
Harrold is a moaner.
If Beardsley was fit for the Pompey game it would not have triggered Harrolds new deal.
Beardsley probably signing for Stevenage, Oxford, Mansfield also interested.
Lockyer is a great lad who doesn't know how good he is.
Brown could have played the last game of the season.
Parkes, great kid, overweight and not the cleverest.
Clarke can not afford this player with his budget as he needs pace but has said get a club and will stay in touch.
The above are the thoughts of a former player, passed onto me. Very surprising when you bump into someone you recognise and engage in conversation.

I would moan if i was Harrold. Had no service all season as for his deal, i thought the club wernt doing appenance based trihgers anymore.lol
O Toole may have trained hard, but his match performance was poor.
Parkes. Well we can all see he is overweight.

Funny though, both McGhee and Ward quoted as saying Parkes was the best crosser of a ball and best dead ball player yet neither manager used him for this. We were bloody awful all season with dead ball situations. I would have liked to have heard his views on Richards. Marcus Stewart and youth coach Alan Walsh both said he was was the most naturally gifted striker. WTF happened eh guys ? I can't help to still feel the Richards for Gow saga did for us. I saw Richards improving and knuckle down but he was simply not going to score without service. I wonder, if you see this guy again, can you maybe ask mate ? Thanks |

Not sure how a former player would know the details of Harrold's contract and that if Beardsley was fit he wouldn't have had next season triggered though. Not saying it's a lie but seems odd that a player would know this...

Not saying it's a lie but seems odd that a player would know this... Common knowledge in the dressing room apparently, why would I be told otherwise. There all blokes together after all and I am quite sure they talk among themselves about things other than what will happen on the field of play. In fact after what has happened this last season seems to me they were talking all the time about non football matters. |

Very quiet on here at the moment and as you can see I have not been posting as much as I normally would, however thought this would definately be of interest as nothing sems to be coming out of the club at present.

Yeah, its a pretty quiet time for Rovers related news. Hopefully we will start making some signings soon!!
