But no one picked up on the suggestion that Baggins needs a carer. So once again people with mental health issues are allowed to be freely mocked without anyone caring. Thing is, while you have a reasonable point, it's only really valid if you defend all groups that could potentially be offended. There is often homophobia, sexism, racism, misogyny and ignorance displayed here if you want to take every post at face value. Most of the time it's just people taking the p**s and not actually acting in a discriminatory way or meaning any harm. All that said, I'm getting f**king sick of all the sh** on here now from all sides so I'm probably not the best person to reply. I think an extended break from gaschat might restore my faith in humanity, but somehow I doubt that. Humans are basically f**king horrible things. You've started to watch Eastenders again haven't you! I can`t believe it, Nobby, I honestly can`t. Poor Hugo is pouring his heart out, and you`re still being flippant. The only reason I don`t give you a damn good thrashing, is the fact that you were once in the army, and would probably beat me to a pulp.

In the military, when faced with something, you usually resort to humour. It can work in the hardest of times. PS - This thrashing, is it for free or do I have to pay the normal rates?

Mates rates, Nobby. You`d be mad to turn that down.

Humans are basically f**king horrible things. A conclusion you`ve arrived at, remarkably late in life, Hugo. On my first day at primary school, Alan Davidson, who was sitting next to me, squashed the plasticine elephant I`d just made. I punched him in the head, and received a ruler across the knuckles from the teacher. That was enough to convince me. Din't do i any harm, in secondary i had the cane every day, think i must have developed a liking to it that still exists today, the only thing thats changed is only women are allowed to cane me sice i left school(being swerious)

Nobs gallows humour is one of the best things man ever invented, but as wendy says i must not resort to it during any medical examination as it hurts like f**k, eg never ever make a nurse crack up whilst getting blood taken. Or never misread the fookin labels on ampoules, had a cannula put in, misread the sodium chloride label and start resisting the doc whose going to use it to clean the cannula, i thought it said sodium cyanide so you can image how that went for a few minutes
