After the fiasco of the Russians and their doping, does anyone give a toss about the Olympics?

Apparently, Kenya are meant to be right up there with the Russians RE: doping You just don't know when watching a race if they're clean or not. This time 4 years ago I was absolutely buzzing about the Olympics, but I haven't given it a second thought this year.
The people who I feel for are the clean athlete's, they will be stood on the podium with people wandering if they did it legally or not.
What with the time difference and all the bs, I'd doubt if I'll watch anything live, probably just watch the highlights the following day.

I fear the clean athletes will be standing on the running track watching the winners on the podium, and wondering if they should have taken a few substances as well.

Apparently, Kenya are meant to be right up there with the Russians RE: doping Apparently so. It`s most perplexing. What possible difference between Russian athletes and Kenyan athletes, means that one lot of cheats can compete, and another can`t? The truth is out there. Possibly.

Nobs it ain't just the ruskies that take drugs, the funniest person i heard in an interview was usain bolt he simply said if anyone take drugs ban the whole country, wonder what he would have said if it was a gb competitor using drugs, yes ban the drugtaker but to even think about banning a whole country is a bit stalinish isn't it.
As for the olympics nah cant be arsed as it lost it's true meaning and way years ago

Baggins - I know you recorded Tom Daley earlier this evening, and I know you are probably watching him on continuous loop......but you really should switch it off or you may go blind.

Is it really that hard to test everyone, or at least those who win medals?
Not that I've taken any interest in it whatsoever

Is it really that hard to test everyone, or at least those who win medals? Not that I've taken any interest in it whatsoever It's a timing issue. The cheat only needs to avoid detection whilst the drug is in their system. They can still benefit from it after use, such as building up muscle or enhancing blood flow, repairing damaged tissue quicker than is natural. Stop a couple of months before the games begin and you won't see any trace, at least until the testing techniques catch up. Hence the requirement to tell anti doping bodies where you are at all times for a random sample to be taken. At this level it only takes a little extra to mean the difference between gold and not even making the final.

Have you taken them off your head yet? Nope. Did you see the colour of the water in the diving pool changed from a nice blue to a danky green? Apparently, it was caused by Tom's trunks.......just saying.

I must admit, I watched nearly all the Star Trek programmes in my younger days (with James T Kirk), but for the life of me I cannot recall the one where 'Spock watered'! You don't happen to know what episode that was do you?
