like I said the first paragraph,we should've been 3 up with only 5 mins gone Oxfords three chances didn't count but ours did ? That chance mildly bottled was the most clear cut of all well on their forum they think the exact opposite to you and thought they were lucky to be drawing at ht,some people moan even if we play well and win I will agree with you and say if the goals were wider it would've been 10 2 to Oxford,if both teams took their chances today it would've been about 12 5 to us You must of been in the waterer every time we had a attack were you? Monty and gaffney could've had 3 each and if lines pulled the trigger a bit quicker he could've have a few

The wider goals comment is HILARIOUS. Certainly put me in my place, which is apparently "the waterer", which I think is what knuckle dragging lady gardens call the toilet.

Mildenhall 6 Some good moments and some indecisive moments.
J. Clarke 7 steady eddie. Lockyer 8 great match against a very decent frontline. McChrystal 6 slow but effective. Brown 7 great on the ball.
Bodin 5 not his day. O. Clarke 8 great game done all the dirty work. Lines 8.5 MOTM Linesy bang in form ran the show, assisted Easter goal. Montano 7 got his man sent off, always in the game.
Easter 8 class player on and off the ball. Gaffney 5 out of form needs a goal.
Subs: Harrison 6 Taylor 8 James 7
Crowd 9 Ref 7 Oxford 6 looked dangerous at times.

That chance mildly bottled was the most clear cut of all I agree that Mildlenhall perhaps should have come out to that ball, but why on earth would you say he 'bottled it' To me just a poor snap second decision........and actually given that they didn't score, some may say the correct decision!!! But he has no history of ducking out of challenges so to say that is just plain stupid.

Mildenhall 6.5 Hesitant at times, but so are most GK's at this level. Still think DC will be looking to improve in this area.
J. Clarke 8 MOTM Impressed with JC and looks to be relishing the step up. Lockyer 7 Not at his best, but he has set very high standards and will get there with more games under his belt. McChrystal 6.5 Solid enough, could maybe have done better with the goal but wasn't just down to him. Loses half a point for passing accuracy. Why he takes (or receives) free kicks is beyond me. Brown 7 Usual solid performance.
Bodin 5 Not his day but still an important part of the team. O. Clarke 8 Growing into the season and a strong performance. Also got goals in him. Lines 8 Plenty of running and controlled the middle of the park. Would have been higher if not booked early on after losing the ball in a dangerous area. Montano 8 Constant threat down the left and if he can get consistency in his crossing, we will score a hatful. Couple of chances himself too.
Easter 7.5 What you expect from a seasoned pro. Held the ball well and got a deserved goal. Important squad player for days like today when fatigue is a factor. Gaffney 5 No lack of effort, but maybe lacking in confidence. Desperately needs a goal soon to kick start his season.
Subs: Harrison 6 Another one who needs a goal to get him up and running. Did OK and involved in a couple of nice moves. Taylor 8 Quality player and vital to keep him if we are going to push on. Movement and touch is excellent and always got a goal in him. He fits this team and that's something money can't always buy. James 6 Did OK and involved in the move which led to the winner. Needs game time to get fully up to speed. Always looking for the ball.
Crowd 8 Sure the noise in the 24th minute put the Oxford players off! Ref 3 Awful first half, slightly better second. Not impressed. Oxford 5 Probably just an off day, but looked second best from the start. Long balls to strikers caused a few problems but thought we out passed them all afternoon.

That's it, so many of our fans go to the pub, rush to the game and then rush to the bog, and probably more than once!!

My own opinion from the game. Final results should be up tomorrow morning but the results from Cardiff have been updates.
Mildenhall 6.5 Maybe wasn't at fault for the goal, but something about his performance didn't fill me with confidence
J. Clarke 8 Terrific game and he's shown that he can make the step up to league 1. Showed a willingness to get forward with a surprising turn of pace which he didn't have last season Lockyer 6.5 Struggled with the physicality of Oxford's strikers, outmanouevred for Oxford's goal McChrystal 7 Proved that he can still be useful at this level Brown 7 Normal game for Brown, everything that could be said of him has been said already
Bodin 5 Really off his game and neglected his defensive duties in the second half, giving Clarke more work to do O. Clarke 8 Strong game and with Lines won the midfield battle comfortably Lines 8 Same as Ollie and they both did well to keep going for 90 mins after Thursday Montano 7.5 Lots of good link-up play. Needed a better end product on a couple of occasions
Easter 8 Probably the best I've seen him play Gaffney 5.5 Not up to the standard yesterday
Subs: Harrison 6 Took too long to do simple things Taylor 7.5 Took his goal well, but also lots of passing to keep the ball away from Oxford James 6.5 Filled in defensively and was an outlet. Wanted the ball in behind rather than to feet

mildy 7, not too bad but doesnt inspire me with confidence
clarke 7 my preferred right back macca 7 surprised he started steady as always lockyer 7 just class brown 8 plays better with a man infront, highly influential
Bodin 7 was all going down the left side, had some tidy touches Clarke 9 MOM controlled the tempo of the game expertly Lines 8 good bursting runs and always trying to get the ball forward. hopefully will add more goals to his game Monty 8 ran him self into the ground
Easter 8 surprised he came off Gaffers 6 meh, doesnt look lethal, some quality touches with his back to goal tho
subs James 6 looked tidy Harrison 6 some good stuff marred with some bad decisions Taylor 8 oozes class and extremely confident
