We're currently on 11 straight competitive home wins. (10 league). Morecambe 2-1 Hartlepool 4-1 Wimbledon 3-1 Mansfield 1-0 Cambridge 3-0 Crawley 3-0 Yeovil 2-1 Exeter 3-1 Dagenham 2-1 Cardiff 1-0 Oxford 2-1
Is that a club record or are we yet to break it?

We have equalled a club record - of 10 straight LEAGUE wins at home dating back to ...........................1935 !!! So let's make Bolton a sell-out and help the boys create some history - think we have great chance - Bolton nothing to fear.

Unusually, BWFC have just broken their away duck of over a year. Rovers (used to) specialise in allowing away teams to end bad sequences, so there's a relief.

Damn right, lets give the Trotters a bout of the trots.
They seem excited at the thought of playing us, so much so they already have a match thread on their forum!

Strangely, they have a player called Trotter too (scored their winner on Sat).

Funnily enough the 1935 run also included 1 home cup win (FA Cup vs Exeter City), so we are equal on that record as well (i.e. 11 consecutive League & Cup home wins)

Should the Cardiff game count as this was won after extra time?

did we win a competitive match at home, and not on pens? I'd suggest yes.

The record books will show a 1-0 win over Cardiff, if it had gone to penalties the records would show a draw.

On the subject of beating records....after the 10,000 crowd on Sunday I reckon BRFC need an average of 8007 at every game now to break last season's average crowd tally. With 5500 ish season tickets sold and possibly higher away crowds this season it might only take just over 2000 people to pay on the day/get early bird ticket. Obviously every crowd higher than the 8007 rovers get now the less are needed in future games to beat the target. So it's game on to beat the crowds of 1977 (8431),2000 (8402 ), 1968 (8105) & 1978 (8108) Are the crowds of 1966 (9007) and 1973 ( 8900) beyond reach at the memorial stadium at the moment
