OK, my views are as follows;
Mildenhall - 7 Whilst he didnt have to do much i thought he had one of his better games, distribution was MUCH better, though i admit I'm ignoring the moment he went on some weird wlakabout - cant accuse him of sticking on his line!
Leadbitter - 6 Fast but looked to me like he was lacking confidence for some reason, some ridiculous poncing around with James Clarke over throw ins lost him a point J. Clarke - 7 Nothing dramatic, but solid, did well Lockyer - 7.5, just a bit better than James Clarke, did well Hartley - 8 Solid, maybe finally we are getting a new Steve Elliot, and a goal of course, made better as it came from a battle with Adam Barret! Brown - 7 Good again, but not as effective as in some games, maybe a bit slow to get into the game if I am honest
O. Clarke - 6 didnt cost us anything this time but doesnt look to be what we need in midfield. Also Linesy seemed to be having to cover back for him & Sincs a lot Lines - 7.5 Showed his quality at times, much better this season Sinclair - 5.5 Had to go in to the 5's as not as good as Leads, either not up to the step up in class or strangely for the human dynamo, not yet fully fit. Need better quality in Midfield
Taylor - 6 Not one of his better games, though there were a couple of quality touches from him, one that led to the corner that produced the Goal. Gets knocked off the ball far too easily Harrison - 7.5 Really good game from Ellis, unfortunate the ref gave the dodgy hand ball decision, Ellis has been a revelation to me this year, not really rated him to the same level others have in the past
Subs: Easter - 7 Showed his quality but did seem to run the wrong way with the ball a lot! Gaffney - 6 Didnt show anything really, some nice hold up play but also missed an opportunity to win the game, & missed bt=y a country mile - hit or stand roof!
Crowd - 8 Despite there 'only' being 550 ish gas heads, i thought a great level of support Ref - 2 dodgy handball decision but missed other stuff as well Southend - 6 should have been in front after our slow start

Results in and Peter Hartley is MotM with a score of 7.17, his first award in his third league game for Rovers.
The other players in the last two seasons to get MotM in one of their first three league appearances are: Taylor (1st game), Martin (2nd), Trotman (3rd), Cunnington (2nd), Della Verde (2nd), Blissett (3rd), Dawson (2nd) and James Clarke (1st). An interesting mix of players there.
The starting XI average was 6.35.
Mildenhall 6.3
Leadbitter 6.0 J. Clarke 6.9 Lockyer 6.8 Hartley 7.2 Brown 6.3
O. Clarke 5.7 Lines 6.8 Sinclair 5.7
Taylor 5.5 Harrison 6.7
Subs: Easter 6.3 Gaffney 5.5
Crowd 7.0 Ref 2.0 Southend 5.3
