The closer it gets to KO and I'm actually finding it quite tough not going tonight. I've never missed a League or Cup home match unless out of Bristol(which isn't very often as I have no life) in a very long time. Feel really sorry for the players as they will feel the effect of something that isn't their fault. Anyone else feel the same? Thats good though Rich, the whole point of a boycott is to make a stand. By not attending/taking part in something you have a passion for, you are putting your morals first and telling meddling authorities to wake up and listen to the very people that make the game what it is and you will not be taken for granted. UTG These two posts sum up exactly how I feel. Ive only ever missed one home game by choice in 32 years and that was Buckles last game. Although they're two different situations I feel as strongly about this one as I did about that one. UTG

Not going, not sorry. The argument the club will lose money is pretty baseless. People who go, fair enough, just hope you boo Reading constantly.

Not going to support this farce competition. First Home game missed in 4 years but the fewer people who go to these matches throughout the country the more chance of getting the old format back again for next year.....poor numbers on the terraces will soon halt this joke of a competition.

I've hardly missed a home game in the last 5 years but tonight I'm not even tempted in the slightest. Boycotting is in our best interest as supporters.

Following this match thread (if that's what it is) is the limit of my support tonight. If not attending I usually tune in to the dulcet tones of Keith Brookman but not tonight

This trend of managers and coaches resurrecting their careers against the u23 sides is a good idea ...imagine Yatesy crunching into a promising academy prospect! They would soon consider the experiment a failure and butt out of the associate members cup!!

Peterborough losing 2-0 at home to Norwich U23, and Bolton losing also at home 1-0 to Everton U23. Perhaps the answer is to arrange it so all the U23 teams get to the later stages and the final so that no one shows up for the Wembley final!

I can't see a non b team in the semi final stages. These greedy barstewards will fill their sides with more quality and experience, the closer they get to wembley. I'm amazed that league 1 and 2 clubs have to give half there gate to a Premiership club. Disgusting.
