A lot of people made the personal choice to vote for the Nazi Party in Germany in the 1930's. They were a bunch of deluded muppets that were told by many their actions would have grave consequences. Although, to be fair to them, the reorganisation of German football under the Nazis was pretty successful. (Until they got most of their players killed)

The Checkatrade twitter account doesn't do them any favours judging by some of their replies to fans about non-attendance in these games!! Ha! just seen this. The Checkatrade PR manager has just been handed a revolver and told "you know what to do"

It was only post-war with the emergence of the great Fritz Walter and his Kaiserslautern side did Germany really come forward as a footballing super power (with a bit of luck) in the 1954 World Cup. Interestingly Walter made his Kaiserslautern debut in the Überprüfen Arbeit Pokel in 1947.

The closer it gets to KO and I'm actually finding it quite tough not going tonight. I've never missed a League or Cup home match unless out of Bristol(which isn't very often as I have no life) in a very long time. Feel really sorry for the players as they will feel the effect of something that isn't their fault.
Anyone else feel the same?

I hate missing a home game, but after a lot of thought I am NOT going. It is the future(possible) of the Football League, the thin end of the wedge and all that. Will attend any other games, but not against an U23 team. And I do not like not being there at all!! UTG

Its simple for me... I want to go and see the team I love .. Catch up with mates and have a few pints. I know the new format is wrong and many will not attend. I dont see how it makes me less of a gashead???

I could see the attraction of putting out our youth team as well but we would get fined and that money may well pay for two months of a loan player. So we as a club are shafted every which way. The OS says we're putting out "...a ‘full’ Bristol Rovers team..." whatever that means. I thought we might play a 5 a side team with rush back keeper ?!!! It's a disgrace I'm definitely not going now !!!

By not attending/taking part in something you have a passion for, you are putting your morals first and telling meddling authorities to wake up and listen to the very people that make the game what it is and you will not be taken for granted. Luton and Pompey make 11 changes, fair play to them.

Bar Lines & Taylor isn't that our first team assuming Locks & Ellis are now with Wales?
Where's Roberts, playing for Swansea or Wales?

I'd have turned up to see Stewie get fifteen minutes at the end.

I suppose we can afford to field a strong side given we have no game on Saturday- plenty of rest time. Still, disappointed players like Lucas, Broom, Greenslade aren't playing.
