Where do you stand on it?
I don't get it why they cant work to a rota like 1000's of firms do up & down the country. One week in 3, or, something similar so everyone works the same amount of days on a weekend?
Why are Doctors so different to the rest of us?
I've worked Saturdays & Sundays in the past with out the need to strike, why cant they?
They think we should treat them as Gods, just for doing the job they wanted & trained to do.

I think the emails leaked from the BMA prove that this is just a political action by the BMA.

Completely agree with the OP.
Nurses accept that health care needs to be delivered 24/7 and that night and weekend work goes with the job.
Doctors just need to get on with what's needed. They are paid very well for what they do.

They are paid very well for what they do. What annoys ( and depresses ) me, is the moronic chanting you hear from the doctors, as they march on their strike days. I thought these people were supposed to be intelligent, but the chants they come up with sound like they were thought up by a backward five year old. Is this going to spill over into their actual working environment? Will we be diagnosed by chant? "I have got bad news to give, you`ve only got six months to live." I wouldn`t bet against it.
