I understand the official web site is controlled by the EFL.
Looking at the players profile page I notice its been updated and for some time to show that Parkes is no longer in the squad.
However last seasons Liam Lawrence is missing and none of the recent permanent or loan players appear.
Last week in the ticket section away tickets were listed for Leyton Orient who are not in the same division. Other pages are as woefully out of date. Who is responsible for this dreadful state of affairs? Are Rovers dragging their feet in providing information to be updated or is it the EFL not pulling their weight and providing a proper service to fans?

The official site is w**k. The club barely use it themselves, they use Facebook and you tube.

We've never got an official word from the club on who actually runs the site, who updates it (sometimes), how long this supposed contract will be running for and most importantly, why it is so shìte.
How do we go about this? It is an appalling site.

I suspect the player profile bit is done by the people who run the web site.

So we know who to blame for the utter shiteness.

The websites always been crap as far back as I can remember I only go on there to look at the fixtures and that's always a ball ache. I get all my other info from here.

I use it occasionally. I always presumed the BBC sports pages used clubs websites to get information to write their pages. So at times when something is about to happen I use ours, thinking it will tell me stuff before the BBC pages. I'm obviously wrong am I? I don't do Twitter or Facebook.

On the OS, under 'NEWS' there's a link to Stadium Regeneration. Last entry......................27 January!

The clubs twitter page is actualy very good , relays info faster than the OS. also updates on matchdays line ups team news ect. facebook page is good aswell.

Thanks. I see the Twitter part of the home page and read there about Matt Taylor resigning before anywhere else.

Steve Hood is the one that updates the website and has made the changes to the squad etc. But the system is so poor the back end just does not match what shows. He has to press publish on articles 20 minutes in advance in order to get news up. He told me he's made the squad changes but a month later they are still yet to show...
