Roos 5. One great save, far too slow for one goal.Kept banging the ball up to strikers.
Clarke 4. Poor game for J.C. Not at the races yesterday.
Lockyer 5. Why do we keep trying to build from the back, via Lockyer? He cannot pass the ball. Hartley 5. Out of position a lot, but kept plugging away.
Brown 5. Caught up the pitch far too often. Not his fault, given the formation.
Sinclair. 6. No way was he man of the match.Worked his socks off, but no end product. Lines 5. Kept driving forward, but also kept losing the ball. Boateng 7. A class act, easily man of the match. Easter 5. Did nothing to affect the game.
Bodin 5. A shadow of the player he was at the end of last season. Taylor 5. Lost the ball for both of their goals, and countless other occasions. Scored 2,one a great finish.Did nothing else.
D.C. 4. got it wrong. Crowd 4.Its hard to summon up enthusiasm when your team is playing crap.

Brown 4 Bodin 3 Sinclair 7 Boateng 7 Lines 6
Taylor 7 Easter 4
DC 1 - got it massively wrong I don't blame the players so much for their poor performances I blame the crap formation against a poor side at home in a game we should and could have won. Crowd 6 - quiet but I think we were as confused as the players were and people go quiet when they're confused. Rochdale - a poor side made to look good by our confused disorganised setup.
We really need to go back to basics, Brown is not a wing back neither is Bodin and Hartley and Clarke whilst i think they're capable as full backs or centre halves can't do both at the same time and asking them to be that didn't and isn't going to work. DC your a legend but your not beyond criticism when you get it wrong and you keep getting it wrong this season , if it wasn't for Matty Taylor being the class striker he is that can score goals in any formation / setup we'd probably be bottom of the league with three points, you got it right against Oxford and the 11 wins at home in a row before that why have you ripped it all up and started again ??

My own opinions from Saturday's game. Results to follow shortly.
Roos 6 Caught out for the first goal but his catching from crosses impressed me
J. Clarke 5 Left exposed many times but came out on about even in the end against Vincenti Lockyer 5 His distribution let him down and he didn't command the defence as he needed to Hartley 6 Exposed by the formation as well but he adds such a threat in the opposition box with his two assists
Bodin 4 Hasn't been able to rediscover the form he was in at the end of last season. Non-existent defensively as well Lines 6 Did okay Boateng 6.5 Looks a real prospect on the ball. Needs to pass it off earlier. Faded in the second half. Brown 5 Hard to judge as he'd clearly been told to not worry about getting back as much as usual
Sinclair 6.5 Lots of effort which proved it's worth when he got back to cover defensively a few times in the second half
Taylor 6.5 Got his goals which you have to give him credit for, but not much else Easter 5.5 Struggled to get into the game and had to come deeper into what is a better position for him
Subs: Harrison 4.5 Ddin't get into the game and got a needless booking for dissent James 5.5 One or two nice touches and positions but didn't receive the ball enough Colkett 6.5 One killer ball to James showed the promise that he has
Crowd 4 Ref 4 Rochdale 5

Hiram Boateng was Man of the Match in his first appearance for the club. In the last two seasons James Clarke and Taylor are the only two other players to do so although Della Verde and Dawson both got MotM on their first start. Roos may also have got it on his debut if the Swindon match hadn't been called off.
This was the lowest scores for Brown, Lockyer and Bodin since the Portsmouth away game last season where they scored 4.8, 4.7 and 3.3 respectively.
The starting XI average was 5.9. Only once last season was the rating lower for a drawn game. This was the 5.8 at home to Notts County. The draw away to Stevenage actually rated higher than Saturday's match at 6.0.
The five league games this season have had an average referee score of 3.6. You have to go back to October 2014 in the Conference since we've had a five-game run as bad as this. That run of Eastleigh-Dover-Dartford-Aldershot-FGR averaged a referee score of 3.3.
Roos 6.3
J. Clarke 5.5 Lockyer 5.2 Hartley 5.2
Bodin 4.4 Lines 6.1 Boateng 7.4 Brown 4.9
Sinclair 7.0
Taylor 7.1 Easter 5.5
Subs: Harrison 5.5 Colkett 6.3 James 5.2
Crowd 4.5 Ref 3.9 Rochdale 6.0
