Roos 7 Steady Game
Leadbitter 7 Back to his best tonight
Lockyer 6 Slow start but got better as the game went on
Hartley 6 commanding
Brown 6 playing his normal self tonight got some good cross's in
Bodin 6 Again slow start but raised his game in 2nd half
Sinclair 6 Don't know how he got man of the match, there No 10 gave him the run-a-round
Boateng 4 Slow, did not look interested is he fit ?
Moore 8 best player on the pitch tonight
Taylor 7 Normal high performance from Matty
Harrison 7 Good in places, needs to concentrate a bit more
Subs: Lines 7 Game changer when he came on for the slow Boateng
Gaffney 6 did well but missed a good chance at the very end
Colkett 6 good 10 minutes at the end with one Worldy pass to Taylor
Crowd 6 very Quiet at times
Ref 6 best on this season which is not saying a lot
Walsall did they turn up - very quiet

A game we should've won but only Taylor and Bodin had their shooting boots on. Better performance from midfield and attack but quality lacking at times. Defence still not that impressive.

Not sure what game you were watching! Here's mine:
Roos 6 - barely called upon. Made a very decent stop from Jackson in the first half.
Leadbitter - 7 - good overlapping runs and looked to have some confidence again
Lockyer - 6.5 - Pretty solid.
Hartley - 7 - strong as an Ox and can pick a pass
Brown - 6.5 - Mr dependable. Did well going down the left
Sinclair - 8 - typically got stuck in and played some nice balls, including a lovely cross pitch ball to Taylor. My MOM
Boateng - 5.5 - did ok, showed moments of class, but didn't see to have much of an engine. Hopefully just lacking Match Fitness
Bodin - 6 - some excellent twist and turns, but also some infuriating moments, especially at the start of the second half
Moore - 7 - really promising from Byron. Glides nicely and is a trick customer, plus whips a nice ball in.
Taylor - 7.5 - tireless running, looked really up for it. Some
Lovely touches and was a pest all game
Ellis - 7.5 - again, tireless running and jumping. Should have scored with a header after about 55 minutes.
Colkett- 6.5 - didn't get much of a chance but WHAT A BALL for Taylor's chance right at the end...
Lines - 8 - brilliant when he came on. Burst through their midfield numerous times.
Gaffney - 6 - did ok and put himself about, but fluffed his shot right at the end. Needs a goal

Roos 7 did what he needed to no chance with goal Leadbitter 7 defended and attacked well Lockyer 6 better as the game went on,looked more at home in a back four Hartley 6 same as above Brown 6 same as above Bodin 6 much better,still more to come hopefuly Sinclair 7 hard working as usual but kept his position better and didn't try doing everything all over the place Boateng 4 didn't look fit to me Moore 7.5 very good debut,looked good on the ball and can pass,drifted inside a bit to often for me Taylor 7 better all round game,and scored again Harrison 6 won loads in the air and put himself about but poor i front of goal Subs: Lines 7 felt he should have started as they were very open to be ran at from midfield,something only he seems to do Gaffney 6 lively,boy he needs a goal Colkett came on a bit late but stil one beauty of a pass to Taylor Crowd 6 better than saturday but still not great Ref 5 Walsall 5 their number 10 was very good first half,but they were wide open at times to the counter attack Thought the players looked more like themselves playing 442 |

Roos 8 great handling and quick off line
Leads 8 dangerous pace good crosses/ overlapping
Lockyer 6 looked shakey
Hartley 5 looked very shakey
Brown 7 looked at home at LB good overlapping
Sinclair 8 mom broke up play started attacks gave it all.
Boat 5. Not with it at all
Moore 8 great debut
Bodin 7 so skilful
Taylor 8. The blokes total class , another goal too.
Harrison 6 worked hard but poor final ball/ finishing.
Lines 8 made a massive difference 442 is made for him.
Colket 7. Looks good not on long tho
Gaf 6. Same as Harrison poor passing /finishing
DC 10 for giving us our best formation back.
Wallsall 7 some very tricky players good side.
Crowd 7 but nervous cos we're not winning.

They had the best two players on the pitch ..and probably the worst nine too! But it was an entertaining draw in which both sides contributed equally.
Crowd 6 quiet at times but never on the players backs and were immediately encouraging afrer their goal went in.

Roos 6 steady game could have done better for goal.
Leadbitter 7 good performance
Lockyer 6 solid but still finding his feet in L1.
Hartley 6 pretty commanding all round.
Brown 7 back to what we are used to linked up with Moore really well.
Bodin 7 won the pen would have scored on another day.
Sinclair 7 always in the thick of it.
Boateng 5 off the pace
Moore 8 MOTM linked with brown, glides past players effortlessly. Great debut.
Taylor 7 good all round game.
Harrison 6 100% effort but need quality and composure.
Subs: Lines 7 changed game great impact.
Gaffney 5 tried
Colkett 6 That pass
Crowd 5

Roos 7 looking much more confident Leadbitter 7.5 got forward well Lockyer 7 a much improved performance Hartley 7 led the team well (even though he doesnt wear the armband Brown 6.5 an improved game but not quite back to normal yet Bodin 6 good in parts Sinclair 6.5 an all action game but slowed after the yellow card Boateng 5.5 not at the races Moore 8.5 M.o.M a great debut bags of stamina and always looking for the ball Taylor 8 close to m.o.m always a threat Harrison 7 continues to improve tut continues to frustrate Subs: Lines 8 changed the game, he must start games Gaffney 7 did ok in the short time he was on Colkett not on long enough to mark but a sublime pass , good things to come ! Crowd 6 subddued Ref 7 the best this season but missed a nailed on Pen for Walsall Walsall 6.5 a decent side |

Roos 7 Looked good all game.
Leadbitter 7.5 got forward and overlapped with the wide players well too.
Lockyer 6 Looked really shaky all game.
Heartley 6 Also looked shaky all game.
Brown 6.5 Played a good game, still is in the habit of giving away stupid balls, good pressing down the wing.
Bodin 7.5 Played really well, once the game had gone on he settled in really well. Fancy footwork confusing the fullbacks, got some good shots off too
Sinclair 7 Not sure how he got MOTM but she put his usual shift in and ran his heart out all night.
Boateng 6 Looked good in spells, needs time to settle in though. Not at his best.
Moore 8.5 My MOTM best player on the pitch by far, ran into space. Cut in from the wing well, confident player.
Taylor 8 Being his usual self, playing well and looking great.
Harrison 5 Awful, worst player on the pitch by far. Looked lazy and didn't want to chase anything down at all. Took shots instead of passing, strolled around the pitch waiting for his moment of glory. He plays for himself and not the team! However his header in the 2nd half was close, he got unlucky there.
Subs:
Lines 8 Played really well when he game on, driving runs and passing the ball about. Nice to have him and Boateng as options in the middle.
Gaffney 7 Ran his socks off chasing the ball down, creating space for other players. Looks a lot more refreshing than Harrison, I feel if he had come on in the 70th minute he could have pushed for the win.
Colkett Can't really give him a rating as he didn't play long, however the little time he did play he put a sublime pass across the pitch for Taylor. If that's anything to go by then he looks a promising player.
Crowd 6 not the best crowd I have seen
Ref 7 Ref was good all game, however Walsall should of had a penalty in the 1st half. We got lucky there!
Walsall 7 Side looked really good played some great football, their number 10 ran the show excellent player. Draw was a good point in my eyes.

Roos 7- looks very safe when dealing with crosses.
Leadbitter 7- much better, links with bodin well. Could have given away a penalty though.
Lockyer 6- grew into game but still not at his best.
Hartley 6.5- won most things in the air and always looks dangerous in the oppositions box.
Brown 6- thought he had another bad first half, but grew into the game when he let Moore do the attacking and not get in his way.
Bodin 7.5- won us the penalty, very skilful and unlucky to not have a goal.
Sinclair. 7.5- thought he was disciplined in his role, broke play up well and never gave the ball away.
Boateng 5- never really got going and looked leggy. Hopefully just needs more fitness.
Moore 8- my MOTM. Runs with the ball effortlessly always looking in control of it. Never loses possession and the opposition were worried about him.
Taylor 7.5- another game another goal. Showing so much confidence and long may it continue
Harrison 6- thought he tried hard in the first half, but needed to come off 20 mins earlier than he did as he seemed to have given up and got very frustrating.
Subs: Lines 7.5- brilliant impact when he came on. Would he have been the same if he started? Maybe this little drop from the starting 11 will show what he should be doing from the start and not being so deep.
Gaffney 6.5- although he's low on confidence and feel he has a footballing brain and was making good runs that Harrison wasn't doing. Still a good striker in there IMO.
Colkett not on long enough
Crowd 6- quite again
Ref 6- was okay, but if you're a Walsall fan he was rubbish as ours wasn't a pen and they should have had 2.
