Results in and Matty Taylor was MotM scoring 7.45. Chris Lines scored 7.47 but played less than the 30 minute minimum. As I was adding in the ratings MotM swapped between Taylor and Moore numerous times and they were sharing the award before Bill Bones added his ratings to give the award to Taylor.
This was Matty Taylor's second MotM of the season and his tenth in league games for Rovers.
Boateng went from the highest scoring player in the last game to the lowest scoring in this. The only other occasions when this occurred was when Ollie Clarke went from 8.3 at Newport to 7.1 against Cambridge last season and Nathan Blissett going from 7.2 against Welling to 4.0 at Wrexham in the Conference season.
Boateng's rating dropped by 2.2 between games. This is still some way off the biggest drop in rating from one league game to the next. That belongs to Ollie Clarke with a drop of 5.1 between the Luton home and Barnet away games last season (from 7.9 to 2.8). Unsurprisingly all of the next biggest drops come from the Braintree and Eastleigh defeats in the Conference.
The biggest rise between two league games is by Matty Taylor last season. His score away to Cambridge (8.1) was 4.5 more than in the previous game at home to Newport (3.6). Surprisingly Dave Martin is next on the list with his score at home to Wrexham (7.0) being 4.0 better than in the defeat to Braintree (3.0). This may be more of a comment of how poorly he rated at Braintree than anything else.
Also, 20 ratings is the most ever for a midweek game. Thanks to all who contributed.
Roos 6.6
Leadbitter 7.1 Lockyer 6.1 Hartley 6.1 Brown 6.3
Bodin 6.4 Sinclair 6.9 Boateng 5.2 Moore 7.4
Taylor 7.5 Harrison 6.4

Crowd 5.8 Ref 6.5 Walsall 6.0
