A point gained rather than a couple lost. After an even first half Bradford put us under the cosh second half and to only concede one from a ricocheted cross was a manful effort from the back four. Hanson and Clarke worked Hartley and Lockyer very hard and the two overlapping full backs kept Browner and Leads busy too. When they did get through Roos was in excellent form to keep them at bay. Yes MT appeared to miss a sitter after their keeper parried Billy Bob's best contribution to the match - well struck on-target strike, and Hartley did cause their keeper to produce an excellent tip over so in theory we had opportunities to take all three points but that would have flattered us and done them a disservice. Think our substitutions livened up our play enough whilst their substitutions seemed to disrupt theirs. Colkett buried his chance well - a cool head on a hot day! Pompey, Posh and QPR fans on the train back all less satisfied with their team's performance and result than I was with ours! Drone stopped play is a new one on me.

Sorry for the delay but the results are in now
Kelle Roos was Man of the Match with a score of exactly 9.0. This was his first MotM but he was on course to get it on his debut at Swindon before that game was abandoned.
This was the joint third highest rating ever in these threads. The only higher ratings were Matty Taylor's 9.9 at home to Wycombe in the league last season and Chris Lines' 9.2 in the home leg of the FGR Play-off semi. Mark McChrystal also scored a 9.0 when he put on the gloves at Wrexham in the Conference.
The starting XI average was 7.05.
Roos 9.0
Leadbitter 7.3 Lockyer 8.0 Hartley 7.5 Brown 7.3
Bodin 6.0 Sinclair 7.2 Boateng 6.2 Moore 6.3
Taylor 6.2 Harrison 6.5
Subs: James 6.2 Colkett 6.8 Lines 7.0
Crowd 9.0 Ref 3.0 Bradford 7.5
