An idea stolen / borrowed from someone on the i.f
Everyone going to Forest Green write the name of a famous Rovers player or moment on a large bit of paper. Pick a minute in the game to all lift them up and sing we want out Rovers back or goodnight irene if too negative.
Show our history loud and proud on live tv. Tip off Virgo at Bt sports that its happening to get some decent coverage. Maybe at end of first minute as a symbol for how many years we should remain at this level.

Can be adapted but at least someone is trying to be creative rather then all the apathetic bullshit and ground breaking bus bollocks.

3 or 4 bedsheets with 'chairman higgs must go' sprayed on would be far more visually effective in my opinion. Keep it simple and to the point.

Its not just Higgs though, Dunford is the ever present and Bradshaw too. King, Ware and Jelf are not exactly doing much. If we make it all about Higgs they will just rearrange the deck chairs like when we tried to get Dunford out. Before you know it Bradshaw will be chairman

Hahaha Some people need to stop living in the past and think about where we are. There's not going to be a wave of a magic want and everything will go back to how it was ten years ago. It's going to take time, effort and hard work. Next to no one was doubting Clarke before the Grimsby game. Next to no one criticised his signings or tactics or attitude. "We want our Rovers back" It's not gone anywhere. More like "We want to be in League One again" or "We want to win games again" Doesn't everyone? It sure as hell doesn't happen overnight. Give the man his 8 games.

How about total silence from us for the first 45 minutes at FGR and then sing as loud as we can for the second half, even if we are losing. Just to show the board and anyone watching on TV the difference of having support and not, without us our club will not exist.

I am not one for blaming the manager as often as some. In this instance though I am genuinely concerned about it. From what I can see we did ok in the first match and DC cost us the second. Reading the forum I hear he changes things again and we end up with Sinclair full back. I don't think he knows what position he wants us to play. 442 352 which is it. Wingbacks or wingers? I'm having serious doubts.

They have removed the scouting system and run out of energy and ideas. If we want a club for the future and our childrens future we have to do something.

Give the man his 8 games. Ps lots of people didnt want him but hoped for the best. He has been at our club for a long time and assisted in our worst ever season. He has been given a very tough task and the blame can be solely thrown at him. We need shot of the board and we need new ideas whatever happens with DC.

The blackthorn can't even sing and clap in time let alone 2000 fans coordinating silence and group chanting. I have seen fan coordination on the continent though and it is amazing. Inter Milans Curva nord being a good example. Bristol Rovers? Nah.

Sad thing is, if you read the forums and accept that the opinions are representative of the whole support base (more likely the more vocal ends of the spectrum), then you can clearly see that nothing will ever get done because the support is too fractured. Everybody is frustrated and taking it out on the only people they can, each other. Because we don't have access to the board, the manager or the players, we bark at those closest to us, and it is so sad to see. We all want what's best for the Club, but it's how to achieve that, and with the 'club' so entrenched behind it's barricades (trotting out BSS and DC to cop the flack and be sacrificial lambs is poor behaviour but unsurprising) we as a fan base will never be able to properly get our view across and so continue to take it out on each other. Classic divide and conquer strategy. How to counter that? Well you concentrate on a strategy that you can control - say for example establish an AFC Rovers. That way suddenly you are competing for resources and they will have to negotiate, and if the continue to be stubborn, well we have something that we control to concentrate on. Protest rarely works, as we are Rovers fans and want to watch them so there isn't an alternative; it'll quickly fizzle out. Go for the big gesture, create an alternative and get the people energised again. Sure not everyone will be keen but if the ultimate aim is to get our club back then this is the only way in my opinion.
Sorry for the essay!
